Oak Ret Pally Macro DF 10.2.6/7 - Season 4 Update #3 - UPDATED BASIC VERSIONs (4/27/24)

Hey all, thanks for your comments.

Yes, there is an extra [ in the keypress that you can remove to avoid that error. Sorry I missed it.

I do not have any issues with the modifiers, so dont know why you may be.

I also change talents quite often and do not have any issues with that.

I use the CS macro version 1 that fires the abilities for me and I can use SHIFT&ALT to force fire them when it doesnt do it itself.

Finally, I dont use the templar strike version often, but have tested post 10.1.5 and it works fine for me.

so many variables between different users setups its impossible for me to know why some things work for one but not for all.

Overall, I’m still very happy with the current state of this macro. I might post a new version removing the extra [ but it shouldnt be necessary IMO…

Hey oak, any updates?

Yo, um… No? Has anything changed? I’ve been playing alot of holy lately, but I did H Raid a couple nights ago as ret and everything still worked… so… No… Other than removing the extra [

nothing changed, and the Macro is still fantastic.

Best ret macro evah i dont even think to try something else still play with CSAA

The same thing happened to me, I tried the old version and it averaged around 70K and the latest version 45K

What’s the old version?

So I have it up and running but not sure if the numbers are right or not. My ILVL is 434 and I’m seeing an average of around 65-70kdps. Anyone else have numbers I can put that up against. It seems low so I am wondering if something is off.

Hey everybody, does anybody have the talent string, i cant find one that wotks

Would be interested in that as well, the only thing I noticed not firing off properly was Divine Toll.

Im in 438 and getting 100k odd DPS and with a 97% parse. Granted you have to press a few buttons outside the macro but its a blinder!

Saying that i use two previous iterations of the macro (not released at the same time as each other) for ST & AOE

Thats amazing. Would you mind telling which versions are you using?

I use the following for ST

I use Wowhead templates for Raid ST/Cleave/AOE depending on boss/trash and tend to use the cleave for Mythics.

If i am using the ST build i tend to use Execution Sentence manually and have a /cast [@player] Final Reckoning for when i use AOE.

i really dont like using the multi mod keypress within the macro and so do those things manually.

What talent am i missing? is there any screen of what talents to use

That Templar Slash allways keeps white

Templar Slash is part of the 2 hit combo that comes with having Templar Strikes talented. It’s going to be white because the first ability is called Templar Strike, then it does Templar Slash.
