Oathflame’s Restoration Druid GSE Package – 11.2.7 (Heal Core + Optional Cat-Weaving DPS) - 12/24/25

Oathflame’s Restoration Druid GSE Package – 11.2.7

(Heal Core + Optional Cat-Weaving DPS)

Created for: 11.2.7 (The War Within)

This package is intended for:

  • Mythic+

  • Raids

  • Dungeons

  • Timewalking

  • General PvE / Delves

  • Solo Elites

The goal of this setup is to provide a strong automated healing core that emphasizes:

  • Smooth, spam-safe execution (built for hold-to-spam)

  • Minimal dead globals (anti-stall / anti-hang design)

  • High HoT uptime with intelligent maintenance

  • Safe ramp execution without accidental misfires

  • Automation where it’s correct, and manual control where it matters

…while still respecting that Restoration Druid is not a fully automated healer and will always benefit from manual triage, positioning, and judgment for top-end play.

                           Restoration Druid (Overview)

What This Build Does

Summary
  • Automates a PvE Restoration Druid healing core for both Raid and Mythic+ using a single primary sequence.

  • Uses mouseover-first logic with safe fallback targeting only where appropriate.

  • Automatically handles:

    • Lifebloom anchoring (focus → target → mouseover)

    • Rejuvenation maintenance

    • Swiftmend → Wild Growth pairing

    • Efflorescence uptime

  • Includes a structured raid ramp system with three distinct modes:

    • Soft pre-ramp

    • Hard pre-ramp

    • Execute ramp

  • Includes a Mythic+ panic pack for sudden damage spikes.

  • Includes solo elite survival tools without polluting group logic.

  • Automatically adapts to Hero Talent and talent choices using [known:…] checks.

  • Designed specifically to avoid:

    • Castsequence lockups

    • Wrong-target Swiftmends

    • Accidental ramp waste

What This Build Doesn’t Do:

Summary
  • :cross_mark: Does not automate DPS inside the healing macro

  • :cross_mark: Does not guess targets for triage spells

  • :cross_mark: Does not replace manual spot healing

  • :cross_mark: Does not attempt to “play the spec for you”

Damage spells (Moonfire / Sunfire / Wrath/Etc) are intentionally player-controlled.

Other:

Summary
  • Healing macro is mouse-over first, matching high-end play.

  • Party-only target fallback is enabled for Rejuvenation (safe maintenance HoT).

  • Swiftmend, Wild Growth, Regrowth, and ramps remain mouseover-only to prevent misfires.

  • Efflorescence is automated for near-100% uptime without spam.

Modifier Keys:

Summary
  • ALT → Raid soft pre-ramp / Mythic+ panic logic

  • ALT + CTRL → Raid hard pre-ramp

  • ALT + SHIFT → Execute ramp (Flourish / Convoke timing)

  • SHIFT → Defensive usage (solo safety)

  • CTRL → Dispel (Nature’s Cure)

Player Responsibilities:

Summary
  • Spot healing via Cell (or similar raid frames)

  • Manual caster DPS when appropriate

  • Deciding when it’s safe to Cat-weave

  • Positioning for Efflorescence and ramps

  • Timing major cooldowns intelligently

This macro is designed to support decision-making, not replace it.

Addons That Pair Well:

Summary
  • Cell (or VuhDo / Grid2)

  • WeakAuras (for ramp timers / HoT tracking)

The Heals:

Summary
  • Primary healing macro (16 blocks)

    • Fully heal-focused

    • No DPS logic

    • Safe for raids

    • Strong in Mythic+

    • Excellent solo survivability

This should be your default button in all group content.

The DPS:

Summary
  • Optional Cat-weaving DPS macro

    • Handles Cat Form entry

    • Applies bleeds cleanly

    • No castsequence lockups

    • Easy bailout with SHIFT

    • No healing logic inside

Use this only when healing is stable.

Recommended Bindings:

Summary
  • For best results, bind these manually:

    Must-bind

    • Regrowth

    • Swiftmend

    • Ironbark

    • Nature’s Swiftness

    Optional

    • Lifebloom (manual override)

    • Rejuvenation (manual pre-hotting)

    Do not bind:

    • Wild Growth

    • Efflorescence

    • Flourish

    • Convoke

Those are handled by the macro and ramp system.

                               Last but not least

I personally use a hold-to-spam input method (mouse/keyboard macro), where one key is repeatedly pressed while held.
This setup is built specifically for that style, with priority loops, safe fallbacks, and no stall behavior.

> 12/28/2025 -- Added Resto Access
Summary

Oathflame_Resto-Access (11.2.7)

Optional Helper Button / Modifier Replacement

Oathflame_Resto-Access is an optional secondary macro designed to consolidate all modifier-based actions (ALT / CTRL / SHIFT) into a single helper button. Used alongside the main Restoration Druid healing macro, it creates a clean two-button playstyle: one button for your core healing engine, and one button for high-impact actions like ramps, panic saves, dispels, and defensives.

Built using priority logic and group checks, the macro adapts automatically to content. In raids, it executes ramp finishers (Swiftmend → Wild Growth → Flourish, optional Convoke). In Mythic+ and dungeons, it functions as a panic-response button (Nature’s Swiftness, Regrowth, Swiftmend, Wild Growth). It also handles dispels and personal defensives in all content. As a priority loop (not a castsequence), it never deadlocks, skips spells on cooldown, and is safe to press repeatedly during high-pressure moments.

hi oath, ty for this. i am enjoying it in testing. the Efflowences (i know i spelled it wrong lol) maybe should be on a mod key. if a person is in the middle of mouseover healing, the spell drops where the character frames are instead on the tank area. if i am doing something wrong, would love to hear. ty

I mispell it 9/10 times too brother. As far as that, most of the mod is going to be mouseover for the most part and drop where you have your mouse pointed and it realistically is only going to drop maybe only once every 20-30 seconds. Definitely want to still put the spell on your bar so you can manually cast/drop if needed as fast movement through a dungeon or raid isnt going to necessarily make the spell ideal to just wait for it to cast all the time. Healing macros will never be 100% perfect unfortunately, but anything has to be better than the SBA for healers.

I just tried to import the macro into 11.2.7 doesnt work is gse dead?

Did you check to make sure your GSE is up to date? I just tried to import again on my end and it worked fine.

imports just fine. make sure you have the current GSE.

Thank you for sharing this. It’s really helpful. I have limited use of my left hand, so hitting combinations like ALT, ALT+CTRL, and ALT+SHIFT is difficult for me. Is there a way to move those modifier functions into their own macros instead?

think best you can do is put the spells on your hoy bar and click them as needed.

You can move them onto the bar if needed and manually do it. Or if you wait a bit Ill move them to a seperate macro for you.

Hey buddy, Resto-Access has been added above and is another macro you can bind which will pop your modifiers without needing to use them. Just use in conjunction with the normal macro as needed.

Thank you so much….you don’t know how much this helps me. Really appreciate you and your kindness.

hey guys i would love to test this but i dont really know how to bind them so much input but i have problems understnading it

do you know how to use GSE?

Hello! I am giving this a try, starting out in follower dungeons. Something I have noticed is that Convoke isn’t very responsive with using the alt or alt+shift modifier keys. I don’t know if the sequence just hasn’t gotten to that point/block when I’m pressing it or why it isn’t responsive. When it does go off with the modifier keys, Convoke gets interrupted and doesn’t allow to be fully cast through. I am using a Razer Naga, at 40ms. I also tried using a slower speed (150ms), it didn’t seem to make a difference.

Question, would it be possible to add in an Efflorescence casting at the focus target instead of a mouseover? Would that be more ideal to have it cast at your tank’s location (focus target)? If you needed to cast it somewhere else, it could be manually cast. Just a thought

I am using this below in my macro

/cast [group,@cursor] Efflorescence
/cast [nogroup,@player] Efflorescence

You need to be careful setting your mouse to 40 ms.
