With the addition of the Single Button Assistant, is anyone planning to build a macro around using it? seems to handle the rotation quite well just doesn’t incorporate CDs at all. Thought GSE and it might be a marriage made in heaven? Thoughts?

I am very interested in this as well!!! Hopefully one of the amazing macro creators here can come up with something.
the top creators are working on it, so far its trash, but still playing around to see what can be done. SBA is mostly for people with disabilities and newer people that are still learning the game.

Someone made a weakaura that used the blizzard one-button and blizzard already hotfixed the game to break it.

You are right except from the classes where we didnt have good GSE sequences like Monk.. The blizzard one-button outperforms every single GSE sequence on this site for WW monk

Yea, you’re absolutely right.
After spending some time on this with warrior and paladin, it’s just not in the ballpark it needs to be to be used in place of a high performing macro. I found paladin to be around 70% to sim and warrior to be 75% to sim.
If a certain spec doesn’t have a lot of good sequences from solid creators, it may be a good choice. I pretty much only play warrior/paladin and am going to be sticking to updating my sequences which all get within a few percent of sim.
As an example, I tried with warrior to have GSE handle builders and major cooldowns, and leave spenders to the SBA. What ended up happening was the SBA fighting with the macro sequence for builders and ending up catching the penalty every few builders adding to the overall delay of outgoing skills usage. If they tweak the SBA to be 0.2 instead of .3, that would be a significant increase in outgoing DPS and would enable the SBA to get really close to sim, but still under a high performing GSE sequence.
could somebody help me just make a very simple basic macro for autohotkey to just press 1 mulitple times? cause i think it right now its pressing like p, s, space and i dont know why its doing this in game

i have been enjoying the OBA quite a lot on specs like Demo lock that require mods to work well. Is there a way to make a GSE macro that uses the OBA with CDs?
I am using OBA for all my dps characters, using this macro (just regular game macro).

Can add /cast insertCDspellhere if you want to add some CD, been working great for the content I do.. LFR, TW and Delves

I do something very similar except I add a pet modifier to petattck (I don’t know if that helps):
/petattack [pet]
And I macro the trinkets in with a major cooldown that is not executed by the single button assistant, but adding @cursor or @player in case the trinket requires placement, e.g.:
#showtooltip Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger
/stopmacro [channeling]
/cast Invoke Xuen, the White Tiger
/use [@cursor] 13
/use [@cursor] 14
I am using 1 from the Aug voker section and it seems to be working very well
as someone with a disability this direction makes me pretty excited. It sucks having to sit out on guild events because I can’t keep up

I’ve tried SBA on a few classes and some work ok but i find GSE is still king especially with Assasination rogue
