Orbalisk's - Drunken Master [Mythic+] v. 1.6 (Updated 03/11/26)

I got the chance to do a few runs on my fresh boosted monk and this feels fantastic. I really enjoy the speed of it and never feel in any real danger. Another banger sir.

Hello there,
Big fan of your Sequences, ive been using them for a long time now. Something interresting noticing with Brewmaster ShadoPan, with Blackout Combo talent you can also reduce your brews by using Bkick before Kegsmash, that reduction includes Celestial Infusion. Wich means that we actually need to use Bkick before Kegsmash for more uptime on Celestial Infusion. Wich makes us overall more tanky, especially in higher keys. And with Apex, more Celestial Infusion procs = more reset on Kegsmash = more dps ^^
And using Bkick+Palm for higher ST damage on bosses for exemple. Or using Palm just to wait for Bkick to come back from CD.

Its a minor thing, and dont know if i’t’s really usefull to put it in a sequence for 80% of people who are going to be fine using this setup. But i just thought id point that out ^^
Great work nonetheless. Keep going ! And Thank you for your work.

Edit: Another tip, exploding keg is better use after the first 2 charges of keg smash, so it can reset Keg smash

I will look into this now. I’m new to monk and these sort of nuances are what I need to hear. Standby for an update.

EDIT: Just testing on dummies and Celestial Infusion is almost up immediately now. Going to run a dungeon and then post the update.

When ideally would I use Tiger Palm?

Thats the tricky part, either as a filler, Or if you want more ST Damage right after Bkick.
Edit: From my testing you can safely do 1-2 Palms, before Bkick comes back from CD after the initial long burst + resets.

I think I got it.

I added in Chi Wave but I don’t think I like how it feels.

Good job, yeah Chi Wave i dont think is very usefull at the moment ^^ i Personnaly dont take it

Ok, removing it. 1.5 is at the top. Just ran a dungeon with it and it feels great.

So quick, ill test it right away too  Thanks.

Please let me know how it works for you, I thought it worked really well but I only ran one dungeon with it before I had to log off.

I am going to do a world tour with it in the next day or two, so it’s going to get some steps in.

This version ensures that you will always cast keg smash after blackout kick and then it’ll do tiger palm.

I’m not 90 yet with my monk, but i tested it in leveling dungeon its very smooth, well done. With the Full build /Apex, this will run smoothly.
I have modified some things to match my playstyle because i like to have more control over my CDs. So ive deleted the Exploding Keg from the sequence, and added modifier for Black Ox Brew Talent. Other than that this works fine ! Nice job

What would be an optimal time to use Exploding Keg?

After the first time u ran out of KegSmash, So it would give you 2 charges back

I’ll make a manual mode, just tell me what I should include in it please and I’ll make that panel two.

The thing is with this spec, u can pretty much reset Keg smash with so many things, Exploding Keg, Celestial infusion, Purifying Brew, Black Ox Brew ^^ So for a one to one sequence to work is kinda difficult (unlike War or Druid), but what u have here is very smooth :stuck_out_tongue:
I have to go righ now but ill try to help you later tonight ^^

Damn what is your equipment like? I just simmed mine at 225 I level and its half of yours.

in the manual mode i think the most important are fortyfieng brew and ring of peace. Anyway u are Legend and doing super. U help us players alot. THX

1.5 did pretty well. I was somehow overall top damage. This was M+ 0.

Question, method says that in both single target and AOE I should always follow blackout kick with tiger palm and not keg smash, I’m not sure which one I should be following blackout kick with then.

1 combo keg smash into breath of fire lots of time . 2 blackout kick into Tiger palm. When no leg fire combo then chi burst.
