UPDATE 3/9/26: I finally got my first character to level 90. I do plan to get the rest of them maxed and macros updated, but it will take time as I’m quite busy with work at the moment. Hopefully once I get 2-3 more leveled up things should go quicker. Anyway, this doesn’t have many changes to it, other than removing wild growth in order to improve rej/regrowth spells for within the hp macro.

By having spells in the wow macro, before or after the /click command to trigger GSE, it is possible to get gse to function similar to how it used to (albeit with some added limitations within GSE).

Important:

  1. go to GSE options - TroubleShooting - turn off ActionButtonUseKeyDown, otherwise gse macro won’t fire off using this macro set.

Talents:

open the talent tree and import the following if you want to use the same talents as me:

tip: if your astral power maxes out or you want to have a better chance to cast one of the astral power spenders, keep moving.

WoW Macros

The following WoW macros use the “/click GSE_NAME” command to activate the gse sequence of the same name as shown below. Note: this method only works because I use spell/item blocks inside of gse but not macro blocks, which would break this method if attempted.

SCG_BALANCE_ST (choose 1)

  1. copy the following macro, paste it in game as a new macro, and drag the icon to the cast bar to be spammed there.

I do not know what am I doing wrong but the macro for GSE will not transfer the AOE macro.

After importing, the macro does not load AOE

Try again. I re-exported the macro sets, and it seems to have changed some of the code on this site.

So quick question, after we add the macro to the bar, what do we spam the wow macro on the bar or the GSE one? The GSE one seems to only spam CDs and no rotations.

You should only have to spam the WoW macro , as the /click [nochanneling] SCG_BAL_ST line inside the WoW macro is what activates the gse macro of the same name to fire off, assuming you’ve also done this part:

45-50k dps with 155ilvl.. seems they have screwed over druids this pre patch.

DPS is quite explosive for this one. Best macro set for balance druid I have tested so far. Very high dps output.

Anyway you can look at talents? With todays update I keep getting ‘Out of Date’ message when i try and reload talents.

Anyone can explain me this part of “but do not keybind it”, i cant use this in a keybind, like put the AOE in the “F” or ST in the “E”? what I have to do, sry for misunderstood…

I believe this is better done manually because how the mechanics of the balance rotation changed.

I finally got my first character to level 90 and have this macro set updated. Once I update the macro sets for the feral and guardian, I’ll plan on leveling my hunter next, but it’ll take time as I’m quite busy with real life at the moment.
