Hi, thanks for the macro. I have three questions. Why is the GSE sequence structured with the spell option instead of the macro option? Would it be possible to convert the entire sequence to the macro option style instead? In my case, I prefer to have more control of bigger cooldowns like storm elemental or ascendance and I put things like that on a modifier key like shift or alt. I’m unsure how to do that with the way the sequence is since each line uses spell instead of macro. And the #showtooltip macro you made is almost 250 characters long and I can’t add a /castsequence [mod:alt] Storm Elemental, Ascendance line to it without going over cap. How could I add that to the sequence?
I just made an update to this macro set.
Due to the fact I’m calling gse from a macro, I’m not able to use more macros within gse itself. (you can’t call a macro from a different macro).
While it is technically possible to move my WoW macro to within gse, and get it to work very similar to this, with added control to the cooldowns, that would be more work than I’m willing to do, and isn’t the style of gameplay I personally enjoy. For that, I’d recommend editing the macro I made to fit your playstyle better yourself, or checking out one of the macros others have made.
Understood. Makes sense. Works fine as it is but I’ll tinker around with it and see if I can switch to the other style and give myself some more control. Thanks much.
was working great through a few time walking dungeons then i got my new cloak (wraps) went to do a LFR and it just locks up now and does nothing but frost shock. I deleted all macros and talent then reimported fresh and the prob still exists?
Try changing this line: /cast [known:Icefury] Frost Shock
to this: /cast [known:Icefury] Icefury
That seems to be the line that is acting weird for you by your description, so if that doesn’t work, you might have to mess around with a few variation of bthat line to get it to work. Normally it should only be casting that spell if you get the proc that changes Frost Shock to Icefury.

Another question why not use the talents suggested by Archon? I use it with your macro and my DPS goes crazy.
What do you mean by “my dps goes crazy?” Are you saying your dps is higher or lower or inconsistent? Just curious. Thanks.
would I be wrecking it if I have higher dps (on dummy) when keybinding the GSE rather than spam the macro?

yes DPS goes up using the talent build from Archon
using the Archon build and it slaps with this macro
I’ll keep archon in mind (I haven’t heard of that site before it got brough up in this thread and it looks useful.), though Murlok, the site I’ve been using looks to suggest the same build as archon, with a few minor utility talent differences. Anyway, I’m glad you guys like my macro set.

Brotha, while I appreciate the macro, is there a way to implement using Earthquake @target or cursor in the seq? The spell puts it at our feet.
The only macro options we have when casting a spell at a target location is @player, or @cursor. Within GSE however, even adding Cursor doesn’t work using the method that I do. Only Player works.
Anyway, if you want to cast Earthquake at the target, then change the earthquake talent (tier 2 talent) from the version that states it will be cast to the target location to the earthquake version that states that it will be cast on the target itself.
Another good sequence. Just like your Feral Druid.. Works great so far.

Works great im using the no mods version, im just doing outdoor and PvP stuff solo never played elemental Shaman before. Transfered a shaman char from legion remix where i have been using this sequence, have no gear essentially, item lvl 664 (in Pvp 724 with no conquest gear mainly crafted algari gear + 4 set from converted warmonger gear) and still slapped in AV endling up third on the meters on AV boss with 125 m dmg overall and 6,98 m/s. Keep it up and thx for this sequence.
