SCG-Single button macro sets for feral druid level 90, patch 12.0, update 3/18/26

update 3/18/26: I decided to make a few tweaks to this macro set before focusing on my next character.

Important:

go to GSE options - TroubleShooting - turn off ActionButtonUseKeyDown, otherwise gse macro won’t fire off using this macro set.

open the talent tree and import the following if you want to use the same talents as me:

Note: Both the ST and AOE wow macros use the same GSE macro.

WoW Macros

The following WoW macros are designed to activate the gse sequence of the same name as shown below. Note: this method only works because I use spell/item blocks inside of gse but not macro blocks, which would break this method if attempted.

SCG_FERAL_ST

copy the following macro, paste it in game as a new macro (Game menu/macros/char.specific.macros/New), and drag the new icon you created to the cast bar to be spammed there.

(with stealth)

Hey m8,
ST stalls. Macro goes dark cant cast. I had to put SBA next to it to use an ability then it started again. Was Shred that was always visible on SBA at those times. Not really sure. I know you will sort out just Druid has dropped a lot of dps atm.

Are you using the WoW macros to activate gse? and if so, which one? the WoW macros are needed in order to get my macro sets to work as intended. It’s also where shred is located.

I use them the same as ive always used your sequences. I bind the actual macro’s. (for me Action bar 8 and 9. and razor mouse programmed to that) your sequences are set up tottally differently to others. And ive been using them all S3. So its set up correctly. I delete the old macros, when there is an update as well as the gse sequence. I then install all from scratch.
Also, not sure if its the druid changes, but dps is way down. pushing about 5-55k dps. (My warrior is averaging 85-90k same gear. In S3 your feral always kept up with warrior as a guage. Hunter is also way down on dps too. I guess everyone just figuring out whats best atm)

This was my experience, dps is very very low but I think blizz smacked druids once more

On those classes I’'ve tested for longer, the dps seems to start out low, then slowly build up. Also, there was a big stat squish which would likely affect dps quite a bit. Finally, the raidbots, where I like to sim my setups to see what works, is somewhat broken at the moment. Anyway, as you say, it’ll take some time to figure out what works well. Also, if you wanted to experiment with what I made, and you think you figured out an improvement, you’re welcome to share it.

edit: I was looking at the wrong numbers, and ya, it does seem low compared to other classes I’ve done now.

its saying unable to find spell Adaptive Swarm from SCG_FERAL Compiled Step 2. How do i fix this? thanks love these macros

That means you don’t know that spell. Try deleting the gse sequences you have for the feral druid, then reimport what’s here, as that spell shouldn’t exist in my gse sequence anymore.

I did what you said and deleted all the sequences. i also removed GSE and installed it fresh. it still gave spell things. So i just deleted the WTF folder and that did not work either its now saying different spell name. Not sure where they Are coming from because it was fresh install. Idk if theres a cache file somewhere saved causing this. There should be an easier way to fix this in GSE. Right now i turned on bug grabber and bug sack to ignore it for now. maybe it will iron it self out with GSE updates of Midnight. Any other idea let me know. thanks for your macros using them with no problems other then spell thing

hmm.. issue here…
deleted ur old setups from macroes and gse, did a /re just to be safe. shift for rip works like a dream, but it stall on CTRL mod for FB.
AOE macro do stall from the start of, icon for the macro is not visible, and it does nothing… i tried putting the gse import higher up on macro but still .. only thing AOE does is looping prowl…
im usng the stealth version.
normally ur setups do work like a charm , but not this time… not sure whatæs uo , this time, doc
gse debug comes up with : SCG_FERAL,1,1769977480,SCG_FERAL,SCG_FERAL Not Found In Spell Book,Not Able to Cast,Resources Available,GCD Free,Not actively casting anything else.Rake,

The macro only transfers ST and HP when imported it is leaving the AOE out

That part was intentional for this version as the only difference I have at the moment between ST and AOE is within the WoW macro itself, and they both /click the same GSE name : SCG_FERAL.

Since I’ve only used no-brain macros before, it takes a little while to get used to, but once you do, it’s really fun!
