Alright you demon degenerates, this is the macro I have been working with for Season 3, please run it and let me know what you think! It is based on the wowhead talents and rotation for no-bomb AR build.
Mouseover (CTRL) - Cursor Sigil of Silence
Mouseover (ALT) - Cursor Sigil of Misery
(SHIFT) - Fel Devastation - It will not auto cast this, you can hold shift if you are short on fury
There you have it, no flashy graphics and no long winded instructions, just a simple macro that does honest work. Currently running 10s with it.
Lasted 19.24 mins on Crystalmaw. 97 stacks. Didn’t have to start using Meta or Fel Dev (which feels really weak as far as healing now) til 85 stacks. Well done. Sim for 1 Target Dummy for 10 mins showed 877.6k DPS, I died at 951k.
Still new to DH tanking again after many year, but is Fel Dev even worth it now, the 40 energy cost for the healing just doesn’t seem worth now. Additionally why not Throw Glaive in the macro, just curious if there is a reason to that.
To answer your questions, Fel Dev is a huge aggro generator and very good healing. Not so much on single target but it is absolutely a primary defensive cooldown. As far as throw glaive I only use it when I am pulling but it is not part of the primary rotation so I left it out and just use it manually. I am happy that it worked for you!
referring to the stacks that the raid boss dummy gives. Each time it uses Uber Strike (Uber Strike - Spell - World of Warcraft) it gives the NPC a buff increasing its dmg by 10% each stack.
I just ended up putting them both into the rotation, right now ive just been doing delves and open world, will do some M+ 2-4s laster prob. But being a 45 sec CD and glaives being a threat generator and low CD I dont see why they cant be added tbh.
As you can see with the AR rotation, baseline throw glaive is dead last in priority while the empowered Aldrschi Reaver is top of the food chain. Since it’s really only used on pull i choose to just manually press it. You shouldn’t ever run in to any aggro issues on single target where it would be used, but maybe a mouseover modifier to grab bogies in an AOE pull.
Hello, back to your macro as planned I have increased 690 ilv so very very solid macro I held 157 stack on Gueule de Cristal first breath not before stack 108 I will continue to increase my ilv to help you refine your macro further but it is great keep it up
Thank you!!! It could be that it is waiting for you to get in combat. I purposely have everything fire in combat only so that it doesnt just go crazy and attack packs that it shouldn’t. One thing to try is to throw a glaive to put yourself in combat and then let it go crazy. Personallly I prefer to run this ranging from 30 MS to 75 MS so that it cycles quickly, but it should work with whatever you set it to.
