[TBC Anniversary] Druid all-rounder (Kitty and Tank Leveling/PVP/Dungeons)

All rounder macro, WIP

Covers: Leveling, PVP, Dungeons/Raids.

1) Leveling / Solo (front-safe)

What it’s for: questing, world content, dungeons where you can’t stay behind all the time.

How to use

  1. Out of combat: spam once to get Cat Form, then it will try to Prowl.

  2. In stealth: when you hit the button on the target, it will try to Pounce (if you have 50 energy and are in range).

  3. In combat: keep spamming.

    • It will apply Faerie Fire (Feral) once per target

    • It will apply Mangle (Cat) first, then Rake once per target

    • Then it will mainly build combo points with Mangle / Claw.

MNodifiers

  • SHIFT = Ferocious Bite (use at 4–5 CP to finish)

  • ALT = powershift (Cat → Cat) (tap when low energy to “restart the cycle” with Furor energy)

  • CTRL+ALT = Rip (use at 5 CP on mobs that will live long enough)

Tips

  • Tap modifiers; don’t hold them. Holding ALT will keep trying to shift repeatedly and can feel terrible.

  • Pounce failing is almost always: not enough energy (needs 50), too far away, or you got put in combat.

2) PvP / Battlegrounds

What it’s for: BGs where you need a panic button and you swap targets a lot.

How to use

  1. Approach out of combat: spam to get Cat Form → Prowl.

  2. Engage: when you’re still out of combat + stealthed, spamming will auto-Pounce

  3. Once in combat: keep spamming.

    • It won’t try to Pounce during combat (good for target swaps).

    • Builder runs: Mangle/Claw, with Mangle→Rake once per target.

Modifiers

  • ALT = Dire Bear Form (defensive “oh crap”)

    • Hold ALT and press your macro button → you go Bear.

    • Release ALT and spam → you go back to Cat rotation.

  • CTRL + mouseover = Faerie Fire (Feral)
Use this to pop rogues/druids or keep someone from restealthing. Mouseover and tap.

  • SHIFT = Ferocious Bite

  • CTRL+SHIFT = Rip

Tips

  • In BGs, being out of range is the #1 reason “I have energy but no CP” happens. You’re spamming but builders fail because you’re not in melee.

3) Dungeon/Raid (No Wolfshead)

What it’s for: boss fights / controlled PvE where you can stay behind the target.

How to use

Without Wolfshead, powershift gives you 40 energy (Furor), so the rhythm is more like:

  • Shred whenever you can

  • wait for a tick if needed

  • tap ALT to shift when you want to “restart” the cycle

What spamming does

  • Tries to keep Mangle (Cat) up

  • Builds CP mainly through Shred

Modifiers

  • ALT = powershift (Cat → Cat)
Use when you’re low energy and want to reset to Furor energy.

  • SHIFT = Rip (use at 5 CP)

  • CTRL = Ferocious Bite (execute/dump)

  • CTRL+SHIFT = Tiger’s Fury (use on-demand; best after you’ve pooled some energy so it doesn’t “clip” your rotation)

Tips

  • This version will feel awful if you aren’t behind. Shred won’t fire. For trash packs where positioning is messy, swap to your leveling/front-safe macro.

  • If energy feels tight, disable the Rake block first. Without Wolfshead, Rake often makes the rotation feel sluggish.

  • “I have energy but CP is slow” usually means:

    • you’re not behind,

    • you’re not in melee,

    • or you’re holding a modifier that blocks the builder lines.

4) Dungeon/Raid Tank (Bear)

Best for: dungeon packs + raid tanking with a simple spam button and SHIFT AoE mode.

What spam does

  • Auto-targets if needed

  • Shifts into Dire Bear Form

  • Startattack

  • Out of combat pull/tag with Faerie Fire (Feral)

  • Applies Demoralizing Roar once per target (instead of spamming it)

  • Spams Mangle (Bear) for main threat

  • Keeps Maul queued for next swing threat

Modifiers

  • SHIFT = Swipe (Bear)

    • Hold SHIFT and spam on packs to glue everything
  • CTRL = Frenzied Regeneration (panic heal)

Works great! Is there a chance you wilkl attempt a bear tank version aswell?

I’ve updated with a Tanking version also.

You just need to make sure before you start whatever you’re doing, you change the default version of the macro. I don’t know if the other categories work well in Classic

Nice! I will try it out and see how it works. Great job!

for whatever reason leveling one while in combat will constantly shapeshift between regular and cat form not casting any abilities
