New! Target focus target. This one is Shift for kick, Lalt for heals and defensives, it casts tricks of the trade on focus, enters stealth, and only attacks the target of your focus.

For use, set yourself as focus if solo, in groups set tank as focus.

With this you can run group content with the one button for all content. PVE only, SBA doesnt work for pvp for rogues. It hits where sim should be, with about slight deviations based on uptime.

Modifiers:

ST; Lalt for defensives/heals, shift for kidney shot/smoke bomb

Aoe; Lalt for Kick, Shift for Kidney Shot/Smoke bomb

–You can use the ST sequence for all content, the AoE will get you a couple percents higher on mythic aoe and cleaves.

-PVP issue* On the pvp dummy it insists on applying poisons at the top of the rotation. I believe this to be a bug with SBA itself, possibly intentional to reduce pvp performance? If anyone has a solve please post it. The blizz forums were not conclusive.

TLDR: use the bottom sequence with the PVE talents.

I’m slightly pleased with the top setup. Config 5 on ST give 92% of sim. Not bad for full auto. (I think raidbots works for rogue sims?)

I’m pinging you because you’re the only person I’ve had write back. Test the newest ST up top. Config 6 defaulted is ST and AoE. (the st sequence) It outperforms what I had for you before by alot.

-Edited the sequence up top to use a new config. Hits 100% of sim. (I’ll tune it again when raidbots for sure works)

Quite nice dps at the training dummies (ST and AOE). I am using config 6 (SBA) for single target. Is this the high performance config for PvE content right now?

I find SBA for pve is widely better than anything I can create (for rogue) because it can tell when to use finishers and spend combo points which isn’t possible for user created macros or sequences afaik. For my posts I’d recommend whatever the newest thing I put up is. I kind of update this as I use it.

It malfunctions in PVP by constantly trying to apply poisons instead of firing off attacks.

Here is a small tip that may inspire you: AOE-macro (config 2 SBA)

As my new block 6, i switched from spell shuriken storm to slice and dice. In my case, this performs better on the AOE target dummies.

it doesnt work in pvp cause u start off with the wrong poisons. if i use it on a pve dummy in dorn it applies other poisons as i try it on the pvp dummy, thats no bug, thats the SBA as intended, u should start with the right poisons. Was exited at first when i read this, but it is the SBA , no offense, but for pve this might be ok, pvp wise sba just fails.

A lot of the macro is in french as well, does that translate correctly when used or should i translate that myself first.

Nothing I wrote is French. That’s a bug, Rogue PvP is a lot of CC and knowing when and how t counter your opponents. After extensive testing I recommend if you’re going to use a sequence for PvP do so on a plate dps. Much more forgiving and conducive to this style.

Sequences will always be RNG on spending combo points. SBA is coded to use them at the best time.

start from stealth when possible and have poisons up. dps with sba is intended to average you 15% lower than a manual rotation because it increases the GCD by some percent as a feature. its just used in the sequence because even with the gcd increase, it does better than you could get a sequence to do with spending combo points. Through making this I’ve learned rogues and ferals and to some lesser degree dks, are not great candidates for GSE due to the combo point system.

Good morning, sorry, maybe I’m the one who is ignorant, but in the end if I do PvE which configuration and talents should I use? The same question applies if I do PvP because I imported the macro into GSE and there are 10 different sequences, so I’m not sure which one I should use to understand what I’m supposed to do. Thanks in advance for the answers.

I don’t plan on maintaining this because the one button blizzard made does better with its coding than I could figure out how to write due to its ability to spend combo points intelligently which we cannot do with GSE.

Use sheHulk’s. It’s just the same one button but it think they plan on maintaining it.

(Blizzards one button has logic to use combo point spenders when the points are 5 and up which we don’t have access to)

That’s unfortunate since Blizzard’s one-button approach includes a 25% dps penalty, whereas GSE and Macros do not. Strangely they didn’t include this penalty for healing 1button.

The dps penalty of the SBA is balanced out by its ability to spend combo points correctly, when compared to GSE which does not have that capability. Without manually triggering the point spenders, the sequence will be the same as SBA. With the amount of additional modifiers necessary, I have deemed my ability to adapt this class insufficient for me to continue.
