Unable to import macro strings

Hello. I am unable to import any macros from the site and I have not been able to since I downloaded the addon.

Today I uninstalled everything including the game and the launcher. I reinstalled the game and only downloaded GSE. I have no other addons downloaded. I am still getting the error Unable to Import Macro. This error comes up with any macro I try from this site. I do not see anyone else with these issues and it is maddening.

Has anyone ran into this before and found a solution?

I am having the same issue. The strings to copy do not look like the ones in the youtube videos. All I see is what looks like garbled character strings. I am BRAND new and might be doing something wrong, but I have tried several different browsers and all the same.

The “garbled string” are the macro. It is compressed to a hash for error checking and to prevent copy paste errors. You’re looking at old videos from over 3 years ago.
