I use Flurry on a seperate button to cast only when its instant, like Fire and pyroblast.

I havent been playing my mage too much, was concentrating on my dk and monk and getting their prestige and ap up, so I’m not sure what I pull on bosses. I am 108 and pull 95-100k sustained on target dummy in order hall with bursts up to 250k. I added the summon elemental to the macro. During dungeons I use the elemental water bolt and let it cast it on its own, during questing and pvp I disable it as it shares a cooldown with the elementals ranged freeze ability.

Hi Mike,

Been using this macro for a few weeks now, excellent work! thanks for sharing.

sweet!!! im glad you like it:D

hm… doesn’t the water elemental have a spell also… if m not mistaken, it’s water jet I think. should it be included in the macro? or normally manually casted?

What kind of dps are you guys pulling on bosses?

updated original post for patch nad new gse-2

When I import this macro, I get an error message:

Thank you for this post.

I support the use of another macro for flurry. I prefer to also cast Ice Lance after Flurry. For me it makes a huge difference since it generally Crit and increase damage. I prefer using this with talents: 3231123 and no spamming at all due to the Water Elemental timing which.

This macro is good for instance bosses indeed. Burst to above 500k and stabilise around 230-280k depending on the need for moving.

I have reimported the macro but I’m still getting the error on login. The macro appears to run anyway but I have to wonder if it’s running correctly. Here’s the error

is this good macro good for leveling and can i just spam it and just use flurry or i need finesse

The Gse addon was updated today, I have imported the macro and it imported with no errors.

I reimported the macro, based on the update but now it looks like there is a conflict with Kaliel’s Tracker. I will include all the errors here in the hope it can all be sorted out.

I’ve been doing some checking, adding macros to all my other chars and no problems, just the one on my mage, above. Not sure how I can fix it though. Used to be able to access the macros and look at them but how do I delete one now and redo?

What version of gse are you using?

The version is 2.0.14

/gs

In here you select the Macro - Choose to Edit and then Delete it.

Ok, nm the errors were just getting way too out of hand. I deleted the cache and the .lua files in saved variables. Yes, I will have to go back and find the correct macros for all my chars again now but…it’s running smoothly now! So, problem solved and thank you for your time and this wonderful addon!

ya im sorry im about to start learning coding, but i dont know about how to address any errors. Those would be best addressed to the moderators :frowning:

The second talent would be 2, right?

Nm got it figured out
