ok buddy i have spent legit the past 14 hours straight doing nothing but testing this macro

and honestly it in both the aoe and the st it can do with casting more judgments im consistantly at around 35 but should be casting 49-50 and blade of justice i should be casting 57 times but only getting about 45 your wake of ashes is perfect hits the correct amount every time also divine and final or off by about 10 casts of what i should be casting 5 min tests all day after a little bit the macro hangs a little bit like 2-3 gcds worth of time thats huge loss but overall a great macro set

yeah I’m getting something like that as well with the judgment, working on getting that up and simplifying the macro. the unfortunate thing is we will never be perfect but i want to be in the 90% of casts for both judgment and BOJ.

Ok guys I completely revamped my macros, there’s still a single target raid/single target mythic+ and just an AOE macro. But I got rid of the need for extra CD macros, you still have to pop your own trinket and potion.

On these I added some modifiers and took some things out of the general rotation(wake of ashes, use ctrl for it) as well as added a burst rotation.
Shift- hammer of wrath
ctrl- is burst rotation
alt- divine storm/ final verdict

hammer of wrath is in both single target macros but sometimes we get more procs than the macro can deal with so I added a modifier for it, same for storm/verdict. during burst windows as you use any of these macros from this site you’ll notice a waste of holy power coming. So now you’ll be easily able to spend a quick 3/4 holy power and move on with normal rotation.

I went through the logs of the top 10 ret paladins on igira since its an easy quick boss to test the single target raid.

The mean of all 10 paladins
wasted holy power was 11.5%
judgment was at 82%
blade of justice 84%

the new single target macros go from 74 to 15 steps and down to 10 for AOE since hammer of wrath is a straight modifier for AOE.

due to the amount of times I ran igira attempting to do the same boss over and over again to see progress I had to run a couple other bosses as I got it figured out as the night was getting late. I jumped in normal doing volcoross and larodar. overall and not ilvl parses show 87 on volcoross and 94 on larodar, you can see the judgment usage and blade of justice usage have both moved into the 80%+ category aligning with some of the top paladins in the world. on volcoross I wasted 12.73% holy power and on larodar 15.25%, by utilizing alt you’ll be able to reduce the waste even more. mine will drop as I get used to the new macro setup into the single digit percentages.

you’ll see in this image it shows 3 separate CTRL modifier macros but it was the only workaround to make sure that on the first usage it uses all the cds available and then after 30 seconds still uses execution sentence and wake of ashes.

using the macro in Mythic+ I’m getting very good damage and still really good holy power usage. I’ve seen my highest dungeon this weekend at 347k in an AD and this 263k dps in a Throne of Tides, all mythic+ above 21’s. averaging in the mid to high 200k this week depending on pulls and tank, you guys should definitely give these macros a try

the only issue ive noticed with this macro at all is the ctrl modifier not always using the cd’s will work on that this week, it works the vast majority of the time though. still pulling high 200k to mid 300K over all in 20+. if someone with a deeper knowledge of castsequence to work more with that ctrl modifier let me know

everythings in the thread, I still use external macros for some cds but they’re linked in here. just did a heroic raid tonight and every parse was 75%-83% range without the leggo weapon. if i had a leggo weapon id have been well into the 90s on pretty much every fight. i just did a 25 everbloom tonight and was just under 400k overall and a 25 AD at 224k. make sure to use the revamped macros from my last post here.

I added the macros you mentioned to my general macros list and fired up the GSE ST Macro. I have the 4 set, 34.05% haste and I’m getting around 100k damage. I removed my shift-E bind and set the ST Macro on “E” – I was unable to get variables to engage while holding shift. Am I doing something wrong? Note: I’m using a dummy target and a PVE ST talent spec. @Snozz

I got to just shy of 3500 IO without the axe this season, I just got it but feels to late to really push more or I would’ve. Did the whole bit using these macros doing really nice damage.

Hey i love your makro. I have One Problem. After 2 or 3 minutes my dps go hard down. Sim dps is 170 and I come out with 130.

There could be a lot of reasons for that, spec, cd usage, are you flashing potting and using a rune? Does the sim also have you using hero? The macro is pretty damn good where I’m seeing consistently 75-90% parses in raid without axe. I just got the axe Tuesday so we will see how it goes.

I’m also assuming you’re talking about single target DPS with it being 170k to 130k. The single target macro has an in game macro I use with the lazy macro combining execution sentence and wake of ashes. My lazy macro isn’t a standalone macro and does take some other macros to optimize it, but I am pulling well over 300k DPS in mythic+ depending on comp and run and at that 3500 IO using it without issues.

the 2 CD macros for raid/mythic+ change depending on spec anyways so you don’t have to have all 3 (since one is used in both) macros on your bar technically. These are the updated macros I use currently at 3500 IO mythic+.

make sure whatever key you put them on doesn’t have a CTRL/ALT/SHFT modifier in your key bindings. I use CTRL for wake of ashes, SHFT for hammer of wrath and ALT for whatever finisher that macro uses. you can change those around in the macro to be in whatever order you want.
Example mine is H/J and those are bound to my mouse and there’s no bindings in my wow key bindings for H/J or any modifier H/J.
