WaffleTaco's BM Hunter M+ Macro (10.2)

WaffleTaco’s BM Hunter M+ Macro for WoW 10.2

I have a 3k io BM Hunter and run lots of keys up to +23. These macros have been pretty successful for me. Please try it out and let me know if you have any problems.

My suggested opener is to use the [ctrl] modifier to use both charges of Barbed Shot first, then to let loose. I do this because you gain two charges of Barbed Shot each time you use Bestial Wrath and I don’t want to waste them.

Version 1

Full auto-fire rotation which uses both Bestial Wrath and Call of the Wild on cooldown. This is the default version.

Modifiers
[Ctrl] - Barbed Shot

Version 2

Basic rotation with Bestial Wrath and Call of the Wild fired manually using modifiers. I highly recommend using this version so that you can priotize CDs properly, but it does require using modifiers to call Bestial Wrath and Call of the Wild. I suggest using WeakAuras to track these CDs.

Modifiers
[Ctrl] - Barbed Shot
[Alt] Call of the Wild
[Shift] Bestial Wrath

This macro contains 2 macro templates. This Sequence was exported from GSE 3.1.51.

  • The Default macro template is 1

Damage Output

At 484 ilvl and in +20s, I see a range of 200k-300k+ overall dps, depending on the week and affixes. On large packs, I’ve burst up to 2.8m dps.

Talent points

I just use a slightly modified version of wowhead’s talent build, but both will work with the macro.

Works like a charm <3 tyvm

what ms u running this at if i may ask!

What numbers do you get on training dummy? My results were not good
At what ms are you running and what stats you have?

@AuburnDad_4life I run at 100ms

@Belfy On target dummies, I burst to 700k and settle in around 430k. Stats without buffs are 47% crit, 27% haste, 65% mastery.

400k aoe? and ST?
my crit is only 33%. haste 32%, 472ilvl
That explains

@Belfy Yes, 400k aoe. Single target on test dummy, I think around 150k sustained.

Works great. Do you use the same talents for Raid or do I change these my self ?

Thanks

How do I control the cooldowns my self instead of the macro automatically using them? Thanks

@oly182 This is meant for m+ and not for raid. Raid talents are a bit different and there are some abilities that aren’t in the macro that would need to be added.

To use the CDs manually, open up the macro in GSE and change the default version from 1 to 2.

How does the ctrl, shift, alt button work? Is it automatically in or need to configured the buttons? its on/off yeah?

Just to share latest dps numbers with this macro. Frequently break 1m dps on large pulls; with lust and all CDs I’ve hit 2.5m burst. Warcraftlogs shows 99% parse. This is at 510 item level.

works amazingly ty for your work!

Only tested on dummies and a world boss so far, but it appears that this is the smoothest one yet, excited to give it a spin in M+ today, will report back! Thanks.
