Wenlo The Chi-ji Raid and mythic + Build, The War Within Mistweaver Monk ( Udapted For S2)

Hello everyone !

Being a main Mistweaver monk since mist of pandaria, Raiding on Mythic difficulty each xpac and doing multiple CE i decided to create macro who could help disabled person or any people discovering the class or just healer monk player who want to improve their performance in general with build who give competitive result for high end content.

This sequence is my first since i discovered this site only few day ago, but it was massively tested on multiple heroic raid run, Mythic ovi’nax and Silken court achieving really good HPS output and on +14 Key Mythic dungeon.

What this build does basicly is putting all your fistweaver rotation on a single button (witch is more or less 85% of your HPS total) Only healing cooldown (like revival,conduit of celestial, celestial and strengh of the black ox proc ) gonna be managed by you.

The sequence gonna use in this order thunder focus tea on cd with renewing mist for the haste buff from Secret Infusion talent node, then use jadefire Stomp, Rising sun kick on CD and Tiger palm x2, black out combo for the most optimised fistweaving rotation.

S2 CHANGE:

We recieve really good buff to our single target healing ( Buff to Chi-ji/Jade empowerment on single target) who will make this buid even better than in S1 for healing in raid and Mythic + Boss, for an tiny nerf in aoe healing cleave.

We also recieve buff to our damage in Conduit of the Celestials Hero Talent

“-Celestial Conduit damage increased (by 255%)
-August Dynasty no longer has an internal cooldown (was 8 seconds before you could benefit from it again) .”

For mythic +
just swap in the talent mistweaver tree Lifecycles with Energizing Brew ( mana tea nodes)/ Dancing Mists with Calming Coalescence and Yu’lon Whisper with chrysalis.

Another variation of that build, (Tea build) Who make use of every thunder tea related talent. Its improve a bit our dps and survivability compared to the first build without downside Hps wise

Chi-Ji Meta Raid Build Sheilun gift variation :

Shaolun gift Chi-ji raid build being more and more popular at very hight end content level in pve as we saw during World First where lot of monk cleared 8/8 Mythic raid with that build i decided to made an sequence who will run that build smoothly.

Its gonna cast rising sun kick and sheilun gift after each of our thunder tea cast for having jade empowerment under Versatility buff and shaoshao lesson buff to optimise our jade empowerment windows and doing the rest of our rotation smoothly .

This macro contains 1 macro template. This Sequence was exported from GSE 3.2.28.

This build can be perfectly run both in raid and M+ without any change. (Heavily Tested on mythic Raid and 14 + Key)

You also have different option who can change slighty the healing profil from the build.

For exemple if you want less cast time and made gameplay smoother you can take the talent Emperor’s Favor ( who made our cast of Sheilun now instant) instead of Invoker delight or Rising Mist.
You can also pick Legacy of wisdom to boost the healing coming from Sheilun gift (heal now 5 people instead of 3 and cast time reduced by 0.5 sec) or even Mending proliferation who does an suprisingly good amount of hps if you use your enveloping mist heavily coupled with rising mist who boost the duration of it.

You can also disable the renewing mist block in the sequence to boost slighty your dps and healing coming from ancient teaching, but you gonna in exchange reduce the healing coming from your hot/rising mist and the bonus set part.

So its up to you and what you prefer but both option is perfectly viable.

STAT EDIT for S2 : Mastery is less important on S2 than it was during S1 since now most of our healing coming from ancient teaching, Versatility/Crit is overall better, try to aim for 30% haste/100% or less Mastery/10 ~ 20 % Versatility/15 ~ 25 % Crit .

One issue is the talent tree linked in the OP

APM is still the same than when I play without the macro, mist weaver monk is APM heavy. But using the macro make your rotation smoother since your can’t fail your rotation and can’t forget to use some important spell who is a common mistake on mist weaver monk player,and let you focus on the game instead of having eyes on your spell. For exemple using bck before having 2x tiger palm, or forget some use of RSK and not using renewing mist on Cd

It’s not an issue it’s normal we don’t use sheilun gift on most of our build anymore since it’s really bad now. But this point it’s still activated by the new celestial conduit spell. Only use of sheilun is for mythic + but you can go without and having better HPS output if you know how to play well your fist weaver rotation. Or for some fun/trolling build witch I will talk on another post, for a new build based around the tea buff usage. Where it will be used to reload your cd super fast. But outside of that you can forget this spell totally.

Did you know that you could add cool downs in the macros key modifier? This is a great macro. But I am going to add the CDs to it for myself.
