At the moment Chi harmony is better in every way, its help top people with instant vivify in case of emergency with the +50% heal (specially in M+ situation where you can Chi Harmony+ Envm and a vivify in case someone take heavy single target damage) also the bonus of your set is better with Chi harmony and gain more Hps with it, and its give us a better overall healing on our Ancient Teaching.
The fact it cant spread during the 8 first second is not a big deal, we dont gonna have much spread anyway with Chi-ji Build compared to a Yu-lon one who will play on the Hot spread, is only purpose is to buff our other spell.
But feel free to test both talent running the same key and compare them with wow analyzer so you could see how each one impact your Hps. This is how i compare stuff usually.
There are two sequences. Is one for M+ and the other one Raid? The newer one only uses one Tiger Palm before Blackout Kick. Is that the preference in raid and two Tiger Palms in M+?
Been loving this sequence so far. I usualy tank but have been quite enjoying the healing scene haha. I did a normal raid with ths and it performed pretty well.
Both sequence can be played in M+ and raid, first build use double Tp before bok since itâs play around gust of mist healing proc more than the second build.
So itâs more gust burst, when the other is centered only around ancient teaching.
I see. Thanks for the explanation. Do you have any M+ logs you can share so I can compare? Currently running 10/11s but Im sure I still need to improve a lot in terms of cooldowns etc. Iâm not seeing the 95+ parses that ppl are showing in this thread
Celestial work much better mainly because of thunder tea usage where it can safely launch it in CD compared to harmony where you are « forced » to stack 100% vitality before use your tea if you want use that heroic spec optimally.
Only way I could do a macro who will use master of harmony optimally would be to find a way to put a IF condition who will use thunder tea only IF vitality is fully stacked, but for now I didnât find a way to do that.
And since outside of single target damage celestial is way better on every domain itâs not a problem .
(If you still want to play master of harmony with macro you can, its just gonna waste your two first thunder tea charge but will work normal for the rest of the run since vitality gonna charge by itself with macro during the 30 sec cd before thunder tea launch again, or you can also disable the thunder tea block in the sequence and press it manually)
You could try to put Thunder Tea on a mod key, and create a WA for when at 100 vitality so they know when to press mod key. Just an idea if you were wanting to do it. Gonna try the new sheilun build in m+ soon and will report back.
Its not too bad overall biggest problem i saw coming from talent/gear in talent you should take Shaohaoâs lesson instead of veil pride its strictly better in term of healing/damage.
Also you really lack Haste its nerf you by a lot, you got 17% when you should be at 30% its by far our most important stat( Haste>>>>Crit>Vers>Mastery). If you still have spark craft the neck with Haste/crit on it and belt with Haste/crit too it should improve your healing/damage.
Since for now you only run +10 you can disable the renewing mist block in sequence, the passive spread from rapid diffusion+ Rising Mist should be enough Hot wise.
Gear wise, Sigil of algari trinket is absolutely useless try to change it by the Signet of the priory or Carved blazikon wax both of these trinket can be found in M+ and would improve you by a lot. Also be sure to buy Haste flask before each run to help with your lack of Haste.
Seems you dont use Jade empowerment after each use of Tea its now our most important spell healing/damage wise you should use it when ever its available, you did only 43 cast on 57 available during you run.
Once you do all these change try to run the same key again for comparing the log and see if you see improvement.
Thanks for the detailed review! I normally save Jade for healing but could start using it more. Will also need to remember to more often use Sheilun now then.
Only played MW for 3 weeks so far. Itâs my first time trying healing and def need to get some more optimal gear. Will see if I have another spark already.
Thanks again. I run your macro with some mods if youâd like to see it. Basically Iâve added shift: enveloping on mouse over, spinning kick if not, cmd: leg sweep for CC, and alt is my lightning.
Lack of haste is definitely a huge problem when playing monk. But overall you should be around 80-90% RSK in average without renewing mist block or 60%+ with it.
Here the stats I got running the sequence on rookery +12 so you can compare
