Wenlo - The Way of the Serpent : A Raid and Mythic+ Build for Midnight Mistweaver Monk

One more question  how do you guys handle mana it raid build? That sequence burn my mana to 0 in like 1 minute

Just press Shift when ever you got mana tea stack

I tried different versions in the raid:
MoH Way of Serpent
Conduit Way of Serpent
MoH Way of Crane

From each of them I was getting almost the same healing. The only difference was that in the Way of Serpent versions I was draining my mana in a few seconds, and the whole fight was about managing mana. Meanwhile, the Way of Crane version had the same healing output, did solid DPS as well (around 98 logs), and had no mana issues at all.

I think something is wrong with too many Vivify casts in Way of Serpent.

I will try a version to reduce the amount of envm/vivify casted and update it later

What about removing vivify from sequence and cast that manually only when needed? (Just an idea)
So more Rushing Wind Kicks (and blackout/tigers) + mists spamming

Problem is you really want to spam heavily vivify with this kind of build usually, and rotation is really basic outside of that Spread your rem, rushing wind kick, then you should spam vivify on raid (envm under celestial) and drink mana tea during downtime thats about it, you usually never tp/bok with that one.

You can see the spell frequency on this top world HPS parse using that build for exemple

Ye you’re right. What about mod key for some “heavy” healing moments (for example to cover soothing mist&vivify, env spam) and keep rest of sequence to just spread mist and keep kick rotation).
So we could provide fair healing in peaceful moments, and hard mana drainful healing when needed

I updated it, it should run better than before, i didnt got mana issue on my raid with that new one

Thanks for your work on these macros!

Raid meta looks like conduit with serpent. Is your macro at the top performing well with that meta build?

For M+ it seems the meta is running Conduit with Crane and Sheilun. Are you running that or the harmony Sheilun build you have on your other page?

I used this the first week and it was performing very well, though last week and the week before i was using the non apex Sheilun build. I prefer vivify in raid so i’ve gone back to the meta/apex vivify build now that i’ve also got 4pc. Hard to compare them all with so much gear change week to week currently but they seem similar, i just have to work a bit harder with Sheilun than with Vivify due to less targets hit

I’d really like to use the crane build in raid but i’m guessing it really wont feel as good since serpent just suits more people so much better as designed, so i have not tried running crane in raid yet.

I also tried this in M+ but i burned through mana crazy with all the insta cast during soothing mists. Crane feels a lot better in M+

If anyone can help me answer this noob question as I am very new to monking and never tried way of the serpent before. Using the 1) sequence above in raids, should you be mostly be targetting the boss, the raid member with lowest health, tank or something else entirely? Thanks!

I always target the boss, or the largest HP add if you are doing adds. If you have more than 4-5 adds, spin to win  But other than that I just keep my finger down on 1, where I have my macro set to and use Danders Frames for click healing on things like renewing mist, enveloping mist, and life cocoon just as a backup on those really heavy damage phases.
