Team - I understand Blizz messed things up again but for now, do we have to use the ver 3.2 for pre-patch or stick with the old version?
When do we cut over the 3.2 and this new way of making/using macros officially?

i used Curseforge to update but can’t seem to get any of the macros to be seen my org button doesn’t cycle or even activate after constant pushing am I missing something
No, none of your old macros will work out of the box. You will need to watch Oaks videos and understand that Blizzard changed the whole system. People are slowing updating their macros to the new systems but the process is different now.
You have to import the ones you want to use, assign a specific keybind to it and then follow one of the Weak Auras posts about seeing the rotation kick off.
Oaks videos above are a great starting point but it wont be plug and play… thanks to our boys in blue (Blizzard).

i watched his videos sadly more then once and yet i feel like im retarded cuz i still cant get it unless the org maco im tryign to get just doesnt work at all now i may have to wait for a new version of the elemental shammy to come out
also, you cant set a button on your screen no more. its all keybinding with no icon now.
Its possible, most macros that worked before will need to get updated or they will NOT work in ver 3.2.01. The design has all changed.
If you tried to import that one you used to use, saved a keybinding and it still doesnt work, most likely thats because the macro is out of date now.
I have the same issue, I can’t even import anything or even see old macros.
Old macros dont work in the new GSE.
I regularly backup the addons and WTF folders just in case i dont play for a while and get screwed with a complete overhaul of GSE (this wasnt the first time it happend 
)
So i just restored my old GSE folders and logged in. Opened all my macros and took screenshots of them and then copy pasted their texts into a txt file for later use.
I “converted” my Pala tank macro like this yesterday and it works like a charm! But my macros have never been super complicated with a million castsequences - more like “cast this if you can” for standard rotation and then on the modifiers my CDs. I also usually split AoE and ST macros for my DPS specs because I prefer only using 3 modifiers over what some people like Elfyau do - put 3 macros into a modifier.
Bascially just split them up into a single action each, keep loops you had before and then keybind THAT 'Sequence" to your old spam button on the mouse (thats what i did) and you’re good to go.
