I have returned to the wonderful world of the Shamanistic Rage. My shaman is currently just 630 ilvl. SIMming at 827k ST, and 3.4m AOE. (Currently 750k ST, 2.5m AOE on dummy testing)

Hitting 60-70 parses currently in the LFR I ran.

First off something important to understand about how I make my shaman macros, I make them with the intent of having to constantly be moving. What this does is allows the macro to auto fire Lightning Bolt/Tempest only when instant proc. I also have a lot of utility in there that auto firers (Healing Stream Totem, Capacitor Totem, Thunderstorm, and Earth Shield (on focus)).

Things let out of the macro intentionally Racials, Ascendance, Earth Elemental, and Hero/Lust. I use a character specific macro (/castsequence reset=15 Fireblood, Ascendance, Earth Elemental, Heroism) in which I just spam till all used them go into the macro, this will also reset to the lower timed CDs for ease of use. Flame shock is in the macro but unreliable so start fights by casting Flame Shock on your target and I suggest having it on your bar in case it needs touchup.

This is just my first day revamping my Dragonflight macro so it is very much a work in progress, but I think it is working well already. I only use all default settings in GSE and AHK (IE MS speed etc). Please also keep in mind everyone’s rig is different, users results may vary but I will do my best to help anything that may be wrong.

One thing I noticed a character, which is not level 80 yet, with the AOE macro, you do end up hard casting chain lightning.

Maybe when at lvl 80 that really won’t be the case.

But when we get the new timewalking, I’ll level up a new character and put some time into the shaman and give you some proper feedback.

As I mentioned in the intro, you need to be constantly moving otherwise that will happen. If you are moving the macro will only use lightning bolt/chain lightning when its instant.

Yeah I just noticed that like 5 minutes ago when running a timewalking.

I was like “if I keep moving it will just shoot off the instant cast” xD

Then I re-reading what you typed and it would have avoided that post to be begin with :stuck_out_tongue:

But I’m liking the macro atm. I’m interested to see how it plays out, once my Shaman is level 80.

Decided to create a horde shammy and I’ve been leveling with this macro since yesterday evening and I’m now level 72 (timewalking just makes things so much easier). So will keep pumping and see what kind of numbers I can push out in the LFR, Normal, Heroic raids, delves up to tier 11 & how far I can get with the build in M+!

I’ll post screenshots and such, when I have the info, so people can see how the macro works in those enivorments.
