So here is the skinny. I like ELFS rotation a lot but it lacked at the time on ST. Amazing and might i say the best rotation hands down for AOE. However his playstyle is mostly M+ and unfortunately doesn’t really give the best approach to the Raiders or other elements as his macros lean heavy AOE centric. Not knocking it. Its actually what he said to me and why im posting this macro here. After he and I tested it and saw the areas where it increased and decreased. We agreed to post this macro and i will be clear on what its strong in and not.
ST. its a absolute beast and it was confirmed that it was a huge increase here. However, compared to Elfs AOE it takes a small loss. The talents that support the ST leech from AOE. and right there is a case use of what are you using it for. I tried Pandas and a few others and took note to the rotation and timings and this is the best i can squeeze out to find a balance fire mage rotation for all.
If you are pushing higher m+ use ELFs aoe rotation. But mid to lower m+, raid and ST this is the best one so far.
As always, I welcome feedback and since this is about making the community stronger. All input that is constructive is welcome. I don’t have any issues with sharing the credit. So in that. I wanna give @Elfyau a shout out for laying down the foundation and returning feedback to improve the community.
UPDATE 3/19/24
We tried some things out after @Daniel pointed out some things i was missing. It actually made a noticeable difference in both the ST and the AOE. Im posting the updated macro with the best talents that suit 90% of playstyles. We are aware this is not perfect and doesn’t capture the best scenario rotation. We are working in a new macro that breaks apart into two or three things to really get the best out of it, but its gonna take some work as we are counting the timings and such to max out combustion and also keep ignite up the longest. So stay tuned for that if you are a higher key player.

Ok so we are already on an overhaul thanks for @Daniel for the talent updates. We are seeing a bad rotation producing better dps across the board. I don’t know if we are just getting luck on the proc timing or what, but i have consistently shown over 20% more than the last update two days ago.
I took flamestrike and shifting powers and dragons breath out of the macro for situational things and use a stop casting manual macro and put them on the keys for when i want to cast flamestrike or combustion. I have combustion still in the macro as the way it is, is not ideal but its working really well. here are the stopcasting macros we made for this.
COMBUSTION:
#showtooltip
/stopcasting
/cast Combustion
/use 13
/use 14
FLAMESTRIKE:
#showtooltip
/stopcasting
/cast [@cursor,nochanneling] Flamestrike
We know there is a better way to squeeze out dps in a two macro setup and I am working on that for the more precise control people out there. But for now this is the balanced everyday macro to fit 90% of the users. Stay tuned. Daniel and I are chipping away at the precise control macros.
