Sharing my progress here as proof for anyone thinking about getting the macro (First time playing Prot Pala in any Expantion).
I’ve been playing as Templar the whole time. This week I’ll switch to Lightsmith since many players are using those skills.
Quick question. Shouldn’t Holy Bulwark be manual? The macro triggers it automatically or keep it as it is ??
or can we have a version to remove it like you did with Ardent Defender?
Appreciate that a lot, and thank you for sharing your progress as well. It’s always nice to hear when the macro is actually helping someone enjoy the game more, especially when it’s your first time playing Prot Paladin. Solid progress too.
About Holy Bulwark, personally I just leave it as it is and let it be used whenever it comes up, so Version 2 of the sequence.
For how Prot Paladin is right now, Holy Bulwark alone usually won’t be enough for the bigger trash pulls anyway. You’ll still need to manage those with Ardent Defender or Guardian when needed, so I don’t really mind Holy Bulwark being used automatically.
As for a version where it does not cast it automatically, that already exists. You’d just need to go into the sequence, change the default from Version 2 to Version 1 , and then save it.
I could make it import as 3 separate sequences, but the reason I keep them in the same sequence is because it also gives the option to do things like: Version 1 in world, Version 2 in dungeons, and Version 3 in raid, all from within that sequence.

I have a quick question: I prefer to use Divine Toll manually, as I have it bound to a separate macro with my Avenging Wrath.
What is the best way to remove it from your sequence without breaking the logic or the priority of the other spells? Should I just delete the entire /cast line that includes Divine Toll, or do I need to adjust something else in that block to keep it running smoothly?
The sequence don’t cast Divine Toll.
It will only cast Divine Toll when Hammer of Light’s [known] And for it to be [known] you’d have to press Divine Toll yourself. This is only for Templar build since Hammer of Light is Templar only.
If you play Lightsmith, it will ignore that all together since there is no [known] Hammer of Light for it to use Divine Toll.
I’ve also never had Divine Toll to be cast with the sequence. Only Hammer of Light’s
It all sounds a bit confusing but thats how it works when they merg to spells together into 1-button. The host of the two spells in this case are Divine Toll, and for use to cast Hammer of Light when it is [known] we have to use /cast Divine Toll for it to fire Hammer of Light in macros. Which is why we give it the condition /cast [known:Hammer of Light] Divine Toll
To prevent it from using Divine Toll when Divine Toll are being displayed and not Hammer of Light.
Its the same for Holy Paladins and their Avenging Crusade (wings), It is also a 2 in one button and for us to cast Crusader Strike when Avenging Crusade has been replace with Crusader Strike is to do /cast Avenging Crusade and not /cast Crusader Strike.
Great macro but now i feels like it stuck in the middle of the rotation and says “Spell not learned” then stuck and do nothing.. i have tried to check the seq if i missing something but cant find anything
First off delete your GSE addon all sequences and imported macros. Then resinstall GSE new version and then activate “macros manages by gse” in the gse options then import this sequence its pulling macros in automatically then you set the keybinding and dont forget to pick a version in the sequence i recommend the manual version where you press your cds and Av Shield yourself. Then it should work mine does to date. If it still doesnt work its something with your WoW
Any chance we can get a 4th version that will also include the recommended macro so it will do that on CD as well ? I tried adding it myself, but I just broke it LMAO
