As far as i know the healing touch macro is to help with healing touch not being cast on proc as im sure you are aware it is a dps loss not to use healing touch right?
Dan I just modify the above macros and sub Rip with FB when the mob is blow 25% , just make sure you gte off a 5 cp rip b4 you switch , and it works 95% of the time.
Mel’s is the macro I am now using and I am quite happy with it the only change I made was to the opener
/castsequence [stealth]reset=combat Savage Roar,Ravage,null
/castsequence reset=target Rake,null
I changed to this
/castsequence [stealth]reset=combat Savage Roar,Ravage,null
/castsequence [nostealth]reset=target Rake,null
The reason is some times I noticed it would rake before I got a chance to Ravage , now as long as your still in stealth it will SR , Ravage which will drop you from stealth and then rake , then start the rotation. I went with nostealth vs combat , in case your ina group and someone puts you in combat you still wont rake till after you opened with ravage.
This macro hangs up after it does what it says, think it maybe the reset=target, if your still on that target it wont start unless switching targets, just a guess

where is it hanging for you ? I use a g510 with toggle auto press at 25ms , and I have tested the macros for hours , and every day in H Scens , with no more hang ups. the reset=anything is just a hard force reset, if the macro is reset=target mangle,rip,rake the cast will go mange,rip,rake,mangle,rip,rake,etc till you stop , with the =taregt there , if you get a mangle and a rip off on your target then switch to a new one it would then go. mangle,rip,mangle,rip,rake,etc. Cause when you switch targets it forces and reset of the sequence.
goes thur the cycle and stops my energy bar stays full and auto attacks only ! so if i am on a boss that wont help unless i target the ground. oh i only have a usb keyboard nothin fancy

So you are manually pressing atm? Also make sure you are using the correct macro for your facing , If you are attempting to use the shred macro from the front it will lock up on you. You can test it, best is to run the macro and check for the abilities to fire. By that I mean First thing you should happen is you should go into stealth if your not already. Then you should see savage roar fire, next if your behind the target, the macro should ravage, then immediately rake.
If you have gotten that far the opener is working, and unless you change targets that part of the macro is now done.
The next phase is the rotation Mangle,Rip,Rake,Thrash,Faerie Fire,Mangle,Savage Roar,Mangle,Rake. Here is here we need to check to make sure the entire rotation is firing. The way you can do this is with recount or with skada. run the macro on a dummy until it locks up. Then look at the number of abilities you had fire. i.e if the macro only runs through 1 complete pass you would have 2 SR 1 Ravage 1 rip 3 mangles 3 rakes 1 thrash and 1 faerie fire.
you can also check with your combo points, depending on rng, crit , etc , your opener should gen a 3-5 point rip , then you see another 3-5 cp generated and your 2nd savage roar should fire and you should see your buff timer on our SR go from <10 secs to >20, then again another 3-5 cp and rip should then be reapplied, then see rake and thrash refreshed. And this pattern should repeat till you die , your target dies , you change targets or stop the macro.
yah the macro doesnt work. Also hangs. I cant find a good dps macro anywhere for feral. They are all crap unfortunately. I wish someone could post a good one.
@Chris and Tim no idea what you are on about guys - I been using mine for over a year with not one problem. Instead of blaming the macros, try working out where it is locking up on your end to affect a fix. To start you off on the right track make the following into a macro and tell me if that works smoothly for extended periods of time.
/castsequence reset=target Mangle,Rip,Rake,Thrash,Mangle,Savage Roar,Mangle,Rake,Faerie Fire
If the above doesn’t work on the dummies then there is a problem your end, either typo/spacing or something else.
If you use macro toolkit it will tell you if anything in the macro is wrong. I agree with Michael that it has to be on your end. Many people are using the macros posted for feral with no problem. Rather than copy and past try to write out the macro.
Make sure you understand how macros work and do your testing rather than claiming that someone’s hard work is crap.

I cant speak for the other macro writers here , but I put hours on end on these trying to tweak them or adjust them. And most of us work together trying to help each other make them better for everyone. But when some of you cocksuckers that dont do anything to help the community but instead leach off of others hard work and have the balls to say “these are crap”, Well then fuck off and write your own or next time simply say thank you, or this issnt working for me can you help me out as others have done.

As for the community, we welcome feedback on all macros. While it’s not required, we do appreciate it when someone does write to us, constructively, without insults or bringing the person down.
What I suggest is that if you wish to make the macros, and everything goes well great but foul language in the terms of insult are not really needed. Please take this as a warning.
