I just can’t get this to work. I have setup key 1 with SS, key 2 with the RB and ES, and the macro on key 3.
I went and unbound shift 1-5. When the number 3 key is pressed, you can see it clicking, but nothing happens.
I’m lost. Well anyway, thank you all for making what appears to be a really awesome shaman macro. Thank you all for your hard work.

Michale, do you have an ahk program or macro keyboard? We set our keys up to spam 1,2,3 at 50ms as one key, I use E key, then in wow I set E to action bar 1 key 2, so now when I press E (action bar 1 key 2) it cycles through keys 1, 2,3 until i press the corresponding key again.

@Michael Burrell i had the same issues from time to time, i deleted the macros and re imported them. are you using the macros from 1st page, unbinding the shift keys is only necessary when you want to use the shift mod, the macros should fire regardless. When you set up macros in gs did you then go out and go to macros in the interface and give them a icon and save it.
im using a razor mouse to spam my macros i have it set up lie this

3 key is stormstrike
2 key is the ES and RB macro
1 key is the main macro

Holding around 1.2 to 1.3 on a 5 minute test. My only issue is the shift to enable FoA doesn’t seem to trigger it, I find I have to stop the sequence and manually click on it.

ya some times it does hang and i just press it manual then, but for the most part it should stay active during the fight i find that when im in a boss fight i might have to reapply it once. and 1.3 with 936 is about what u should be at with the macro i was at 1.5 at 946 and now at 1.8 with 952

tested with: 25ms, 50ms, 100ms, 150ms

I felt with the gear level I was right about there.
Forget to mention I do have the gloves and ring.

Sorry, I know about that and have a fix, but just have failed to post it. The problem comes from SS and the ES/RB macro, simply add the line
/cast [mod:shift] Fury of Air to the ES/RB macro in the pre-macro secion, and create a new macro for Storm Strike that has the same mod command in the pre-macro section. This allows FOA to take precedence and cast, regardless of what is off CD.

Here’s the Stormstrike macro, it has FOA and Crash Lightning built in, so if you use this with the other two macros, FOA will not delay when pressing shift, and crash will not delay when pressing alt.

For some reason, I am starting out around 1.3-1.4 mil, but only leveling off around 800k after 5 min.
I set up the macros exactly as I was supposed to, where it fires off 123 with a 50ms delay. Any ideas as to what I might be doing wrong? I am hoping that it is as simple as just stat re-allocation. ALso, I am running with Emalon’s charged core, and Soul of the Farseer leggos ATM.

crit: 24%
haste: 29%
Mastery: 62%

Edit: I just tried a couple more 5 min. tests, and It is doing even worse. It tops at around 1.2 mil, and ends up around 700k. Also, I am not using FOA right now because I don’t have the gloves.

Your item level and your current legionary are indicative of your numbers, and the discrepancy is probably StormStrike procs. The one thing you mention that strikes me weird is topping out. Enhance Shamans don’t have strong burst, persay, but very even overall damage. Unless you are using Hero or Lust at the start of the fight? Then you shouldn’t see much fluctuation in your dps aside from very minor climbs with wolves and artifact, which might raise the bar by 100k, at most?

p.s. Do you have another Legendary you can use other than Ema’s? Something with at least main stats of Haste Mastery? Haste being the key? If you do give that a try, because your haste may be holding you down. What trinkets are you currently employing?

Off-topic, I’ve been having an issue with after importing macros, them not having an Icon for me to click and drag to my hotbar. They just show as blue books. I’ve been having to use old macros and copy paste into them.

FoA turns on for just a bit when I hit alt. Never stays on, though I have maelstrom.

Not sure here? It’s scripted to use Shift, so if you changed it to alt did you change crashlighting to something else?

I thought the initial burst was interesting as well. For right now, I don’t have any other leggos, but Icey Veins said that Emalon’s is a solid legendary. Maybe I’m wrong.

I am not using heroism on the tests. What priority should I give my stats as I upgrade my gear?

I did try changing the 5ms to 10ms and my dps went up to 930k average over 5 min, so I’m wondering if it’s my haste. And my trinkets are terrible right now. One is an agi/mastery, and the other one is straight versatility, which I’m trying to replace atm.

5ms to 10ms? You mean 50 to 100? @5 I would be worried about possible disconnects due to perceived ddos attacks? Haste>Mastery>Crit>Vers. The Mastery stat stick trinket isn’t bad, and you’ll see a noticeable difference once you replace the other trinket within the top 10 bis options for Enhance.

Yes you’re correct. 50 ms to 100 ms.
I replaced that trinket with a mastery/agi one (Best I could find for now)and I am simming around 1.25m. My tests now are averaging 1.05m.

any chance of getting a frostbrand added into a macro as i have just got the wrists would be muchly appreciated thanks
