Hey guys!

Here’s my Destruction Warlock one button macro - This is split into two seperate macro’s for Single Target and AoE. Modifiers could be used. However, I personally prefer to have two seperate macros for different situations, as this better fits my play style.

Removed summon pet, as this was causing issues and trying to summon twice, i use a simple weak aura to monitor for pet missing.

Changed rotation slightly, so seperate conflagarate. I also found some slight hang-ups that were being caused by conflagarate. This should now work smoother. I have ran a sim this evening, and I’m getting around my simmed DPS on target dummies.

AoE Macro changes - again, removed the summon pet in KeyRelease variable, along with slight rotation changes to make sure you’re getting off as many rain of fire as possible.

Usage Information - Single Target Macro

Bam™ Destruction Warlock Single Target Macro.

I’m surrently running at 250ms - No hangups, and i find this casts very smooth. I’m playing Necrolords covenant, and the necro ability is built into the single target macro. The macro aims to build Soul Shards by using Incinerate, and then use Chaos Bolt when availible. Conflagarate on cooldown as a builder, and will cast Cataclysm and Immolate to keep this dot active.

Havoc is not included in the macro, as again I find this very situational, and casting it in a single target fight is not necessary. There are also no curses within the macro - as these are again very situational.

This macro contains 1 macro template. This Sequence was exported from GSE 3.0.45.

Hi Bam. What was changed or updated? Just wondering because your old one (the one before t his update) runs the same as the new one (this one you updated for Sept 1st). I’m pretty average on this whole subject adn was just wondering if you could say what you did? If you don’t want to, it’s TOTALLY okay. Don’t want the magician to give out his/her secrets, ya know?

This is my first Destruction Warlock macro, I’ve changed the title of the topic now as i can see how this was misleading. It wasn’t updated, it was published on here on 01-SEP-2021. So there have not been any changes, this is the only version I’ve published at present.

You can use Raidbots to sim your DPS, i usually sim on target dummies. The macro is hitting what the sim would expect unbuffed, so im pleased with it.

hey @Bam , 3 things… 1st. thank you for the macro, you rock. 2nd. there is a disabled block in the macro, is that on purpose or should i enable it? and 3rd. there seems to be quite a bit of time i spend not casting… (ST Macro); not sure where the hiccup is but i know it is affecting something because i only get about 1.7k on the dummy and like i said it seems to cast cast cast pause, cast cast pause… know what i mean?

Hey dude, there shouldn’t be any disabled blocks, try enabling it and running the macro again.

To answer your question, none of my macros on here have been optimised to consider the chances in rotation the tier sets bring. So they may need some tweaking. Having said that, they do still work.
