Bear macro need some help please

wow thinks you want to use the cat versions of those spells. I had the same problem with my cat macro thinking I wanted to use the bear version. I gave up trying to get it to work.

Dig through the spells on Wowhead for spell IDs that require bear form, and use the number in your macro (for example 213771 instead of swipe) or grab an addon that shows additional UI info and get the spell ID while in bear form.

GSE also lets you drag spells into the edit box directly from your spellbook when making macros.

The problem is that both versions use the same spell ID so that doesn’t work.

The solution is to drag the spell from the spell book into GSE, thanks for the suggestion Drake.

unfortunately i can’t get my macro to work with these two abilities i’m curious if there are such problems with the macros of other classes as well

tl;dr: Wow changes in cata classic are screwed up in how they report spell id’s. sorry…

Yeah after further testing it doesn’t seem to work with bear spells. doing “/use Mangle(bear form)” works but that doesn’t help with putting it in a cast sequence.

yes unfortunately it only works if you set the language to english it doesn’t work in german for example
