To maximize DPS Flame Shock each target (And keep it up in long fights), always cast Primordial Wave / Stormkeeper / Icefurry on Cooldown.
Keep Flametounge and Lightning Shield up. Fleshcraft as a defensive. Earth Elemental situational, and earthquake for AOE.
Just like to say, Thanks! So far this has been working well. Your talent setup does not include Primordial Wave, but even without it, the macro is doing pretty well. I’m still trying to figure out the best of the new talents anyway
Thank you for the feedback, this is the first time I posted a Macro. Primordial Wave is a necrolords ability, but you can replace with your covenants ability
Really like this working out very well for my play style. Also remover covenants abilities and legendary item only work in shadowland so if you testing on a dummy that is in another zone like Org it will not work.
To maximize DPS Flame Shock each target (And keep it up in long fights)
only mod is left for this one is
ALT = stormelemental
This macro contains 1 macro template. This Sequence was exported from GSE 3.1.20.
Hello there. I am having issues using modifiers. My fingers lock up trying to use modifier keys along with another key all the time. I have arthritis in my hands so I am seeking out a way to use macros that do not require modifiers.
I do not know how to separate out things in these macro setups so I thought to ask outright to see if anyone was able to do so.
Also, are there any new updated ones for Ele dps now?
Your best bet is to simply bind a separate button that does the “modifiers” but from their own macro/keybind.
For an example, instead of using modifier to pop your cooldowns, you could make a simple macro within wow to use:
/use 13
/use 14
/cast Stormkeeper
/cast Anything
Then bind that macro to a keybind you want to use.
For an example, I have 3 sidebuttons on my mouse. One runs the GSE macro, one button bound to the “conditional” may it be charge or kick and last one bound to perhaps big burst so I’d never have to use any shift or ctrl just click/press different button for rarely used abilities
Having an issue with primordial Wave, in the macro it wont fire off in a sequence I have to manually fire it because it says shadowlands? not right zone blah blah. Any one figure a fix to this?
I have Primordial Wave in one of my raid talent setups and don’t use it in any Lazy Macro. I have put it on its own key to use when I need it.
Here’s a note I found googling your question:
Covenants - Abilities, Soulbinds and Conduits
Covenants, Soulbinds and Conduits will still function, but similar to Legendaries they will only be available in Shadowlands zones and content. Evokers have had Covenant abilities, Soulbinds and Conduits added specifically for the Dragonflight Pre-Patch!Oct 25, 2022
Wowhead also has some notes on that:
Wowhead points out: Due to this overlap, the general rule is that the talent will override the Shadowlands system, even if the Shadowlands effect is more powerful. Due to this, there may be some cases where picking up a talent in Shadowlands may leave you worse off.
