oops forgot to change the talent spec before I posted it.
Oh man. Just want to say thank you and great job. Started leveling my dk from 100 and started off as blood. Then at 102 got the frost weapon and used it with this macro. At no points in the artifact weapon i pulled 100k throughout a dungeon, and toped the meters against two mages. I use a razor macro that presses the obliterate and howling blast and the macro button every .15 seconds and never miss a proc. Cant wait till i put some points in the weapon and get to 110.
Original Post Updated 11/27/2016 Macros Moved To Original Post… Also a New Macro
Hi,
Im interested in obliteration macro for PVP. Should I use 3 key presses as you comment? #1 I use Frost Strike… Key #2 Macro EnmityI… Key #3 Obliterate ?
What is this “Hind Lick Buttons” that you comment? Can I get the same results with Autohotkey doing the 3 key presses? Delay between them?
Thank you!
The obliteration one is pretty much self contained… I will edit the original post… my goal is to do away with as much micro management as I can… even so some things you have to manage… If you end up with not enough runes then pop Empower Rune Weapon… I play a Belf on my main so I also have Arcane Torrent as another Runic power boost… but when I play my Gnome/Goblin/Nelf Dk’s I don’t have that option
Not sure if people even read this
They read it … ^^ I am using your machine gun macro (830 GS, mostly dungeons atm) and i love the macro - thank you !! About the new macro- At icy veins they say frost dk is more successful at cleaving adds down. So i dont know if its good to giving up some AOE potential for getting some more Single Target DPS (…i am a noob, dont play DK long). Is the single target dps gain worth it / a big difference and for what fights it would be better to use it?
I just start myth. dungeons and atm we dont pull more than 4 adds…but the long 90s CD is scaring me a little bit…dont want do half of the damage after obliteration is at CD.

I would say in Mythics it would be better at lower ilvl to go for the strongest single target damage you can do, so you can focus and burn down the biggest threats to your party on each pull. Once your party’s gear gets better and these targets start dropping within 10 seconds or so, you could start going AOE to spread that damage around.
That being said, the Oblit macro, which is what I am running and getting monster single target damage, has very strong passive AoE damage. I see no need to lower my nuke capability by going with the machine gun builds or other more AoE-centric builds. Why pad numbers on AoE pulls when you can still top the meter in both ST and end-of-dungeon metrics?
Nice Work Enmity, these work well, I just can’t for the life of me work out how when I run yours and mine under the same conditions it manages to fire off more FS and a fraction more Oblits in the same time frame. especially when it should not due to a sequence containing a CD like remorseless winter,
still, I may have to borrow the core of it and go from there. also heads up from my testing on PTR looks like Breath of Sindragosa builds may become a thing so keep an eye on that.
Edit: I deleted my text (low class knowledge text…) All macros works realy great - thank you a ton !!
(Question) Edit:
Would it make sense, to delete *“Frostscythe” & “Glacial Advance” for single target fights? (Using the new / original machine gun macro for 2+ targets) and for bosses the same macro, but without these two abilities ?
Bad Idea For Breath Of Sindragosa Was Here… Reworking It
Burst is about 302k but it hovers around 290k my clicker is set to 50 and the breath lasted about 5 seconds.
I finally got my first legendary (waist: Obliterate has a 15% chace to refund 2 runes)
Now i am unsure if it wouldn’t be better to switch from the new mashine gun macro, to the Oblitaration macro, for raiding. And i am also unsure if the talent obliteration is good outsite of the cooldown (often i need to move away immediately after i used this talent).
@Nobody
Try using Glacial Advance in place of Obliteration… edit out Obliteration and put Glacial Advance in its place… I just started dinking with it… it seems to work pretty well…right now I am playing with a breath macro… sometimes It burns through in a few seconds other times when the moons align right I can keep that thing going for almost a full minute
Just to be sure… You mean like this?
Edit a): nope, you mean something different i think…the macro below dont work well ^^
Edit b): attempt nb.2 makes my goblin going beast mode Not sure if its optimal, but it seems to work! thank you Enmity!
Edit c): I have one problem with your macros - the ability “Pillar of Frost”. Its good to have it in the macro, but sometimes, for example when the Boss is at 36% and i know at 35% our mage will use “Time warp” i often have “Pillar of Frost” at CD (waistet on a ADD).
Is it possible to make a extra command like “nomod = than use pillar. mod:ctrl=dont use pillar” ?
If its not possible, i will use the same macro a 2. time and just delete this ability.
The breath macro i will def. try out after 7.1.5 , sounds interesting

Dinking
Its pretty awesome just change the talents and it works
E1 - burst is fast damn near 418K settles down to about 380k
E2 - Oblit starts slow but builds fast 390k
Breath - didnt work its hung on some process antimagic and remoreless winter still go off it uses trinket no HB, frost strikes, obliterates - it may just be me.
My timer is set to delay every 25 milliseconds - does it need to be slower? I feel like switching from crit to haste would be beneficial what do you think?
I will take a look at it later this morning… after I finish some errands…I usually set my delay 0.050 unless I am playing with a two or three click button set up then I divide depending on how many buttons… I will have to look at it better… overall I was excited to get several different ideas into one macro
the feedback helps me see things that I dint see or overlooked… many thanks
Tweaked it a bit this morning… Removed Breath of Sindragosa & Horn of Winter no sense having it in there… I still want to try and do a Breath Macro… I have looked at others classes and builds and see it can be done if I play with it long enough… I did notice I had the wrong talents for Horn of Winter it should have been 2/3 talent (Heh) but even after adjusting it kept stalling so I just said screw it
Appreciate your help with testing it… sometimes after spending several hours playing with something there is always that one thing you miss
@ Buckyourself
I am not sure about more haste… in a way it would defeat the purpose of the macros the way I wrote them… its a tough balance… I am thinking maybe more versatility from what im reading they estimate 25% crit…6% versatility… and me I am pushing for maybe 30% crit and go the 6% Versatility and a ton of Mastery… but everytime I turn around they nerf this boost that… its been a really strange expansion for FDK’s
The more haste you have the more fluid the rotation becomes. on the macro side of things you tune by slowing it down how often you press the macro. but there is no set speed you have to fins that yourself.
