So this macro worked really really well!
I even copied it, switched talent to searing nightmare and modified to mind sear and it seems to work well! I bind each to a differen tkey

keeps spamming VT…also why do you have smite in the rotation? its not available in shadow. only holy and disc.

if you are using AHK, 100ms works. anything faster breaks the macro an spams VT. i can not finger spam since i have gout so you may be pressing the key too fast.

Yeah I had to change mine for it not to break; there really isnt any point in going lower? besides it shuffles through faster? I am unsure.

I would like to see this though without Misery; Im trying to run 1232132 which seems to be the best in terms of raiding. This macro has worked the best but its hard to manipulate it to include uptime of shadow word: pain without having misery. I wish I could edit and create macros as well as these guys. Also this macro suffers a bit in terms of heavy movement fights.

Smite and Mind Flay register as the same ability, just different classes. For some reason it always defaults to Smite, even when I edit it manually. I just learned to live with it.

Also: If you notice it spamming VT, just re-target your mob, so the macro can pick it back up.

@Blackshoeswhitesocks you think you can modify the macro for Void Torrent and Mind Games? Im trying to but its not working out that great. Or where would I edit it?

Here is the request for the Void Torrent / Mindgames variant.

  • Dropped the reset time from the MB, MF. MF, VT castsequence down to 10 seconds to try to keep VT up as much as possible, but there is some clipping around 25 seconds. Refreshing the target resolves this.

Note: This was extremely bursty in the 1st 10 seconds at 100ms. I topped out at 4.1k on the testing dummy, then it settled down to a steady 1.8 - 2k. I’m at a GS of only 159, so with some tweeking, you might have something here.

I tried to make one last night as a mythic+ variant, but the execution of Searing Nightmare has to be input while Mind Sear is being executed. Not sure how to do that properly…yet

Fantastic macro but yeah i wanted one my m+ too lol i believe you put chaneling in front of it instead of no chaneling or something from what i saw

So this is my modified version. I am running 1,2,2,2,1,4,1

I got it to work a bit better, but I think we are starting to see things with haste maybe play into account? I am GS 171, and can get about 2.5k avg, on the Raid Dummy, with a top of 4.1k+ ish depending on crits.

By far the best Macro I have tried for shadow priesting. I would like to see an M+ and a ST Raid.

ST That would be 1,?,1,?,1,3,2/3
AOE would just supplement Searing Nightmare (1,?,3,?,3,2/3)

I check this generally by using Hero Rotation and Details.

Quite honestly Im going to import this macro to my warrior and replace the spells as this has the best uptime of required spells.

Off the top of my head it seems that Devouring Plague isnt put up enough, and the Smite Flay (lol) sometimes lags, I run @ 100 ms.

For the M+ Variant, you replace all your Mind Flays with searing. The best thing to do with this one is to probably just spam the Searing Nightmare as much as you can. I got it to work but because we are interrupting our flays with Mind Blasts, its clunky in its movement. I would Dot, go through single rotation and then just mind sear/searing nightmare. Replace Devouring Plague maybe? with Searing Nightmare, etc etc.

probably 1? I dont remember making a second tab (unless its to make sure if i really screw it up I can go back.

Im not pro at how these macros work; I go with peoples amazing macros and then modify when I see rotation issues.
