what do i need to add or remove to make this target and fire instead of having to be in combat? this macro is good but silly annoying having to get into combat first then it will fire off

This is correct and intended, all of the spells are meant to only be triggered in combat to prevent pulling non-needed packs in M+, holding shift will send a shadow crash as your opener to initiate combat, or usually what I will do is Vampiric touch manually while the tank is grouping mobs or simply bubble the tank to start combat and go from there. Is there a way to get vampiric touch to quit spamming over and over? When I’m in a mythic or raid it will spam 5-8 times then start casting other spells. Doesn’t spam on the training dummies.

I’ve tried this and it works quite well. I still need to learn the spec first so that I can tweak this to my playstyle but it’s a great starting point. Thank you for the macro!

Trying to give this a whirl, Doesn’t even fire - tired on dummies, and random enemies. (i am 60 so this might be the issue)

Have you tried to attack the target manually first? I think this macro is combat only so if you havent attacked and got into combat it aint gonna shoot

Yeah so thats kinda what I am not used too, if i “right click” to AA (which obvs does nothing lol) it wont fire, I have to literally fire Shadow Crash for it to work :S
I’m new to priest so It could be something im Missing, might have to copy across some commands from other macro’s to get it to fire automatically

usualy you fire shadow crash first tbh so it isnt really a big issue but if you hit with shadow pain it also starts the macro tbh

No matter whether in combat or out, pressing Shift doesn’t Shadow Crash for me and holding it down just prevents macro from working… not sure what I am doing wrong.
