Hey Pew,

gonna make this easy. if you dont like the way someone is, in their own thread, leave and dont comeback to their threads. if i see more of this going on from either of you, i will take action.
All right everyone, for those who may not have seen it yet, Blizzard has recently published the upcoming class tuning changes for May 6th. The good news for Beast Mastery Hunters is that we are getting an overall 4% damage increase to both ourselves and our pets, which is great to see.
If you are still on the fence about whether you want to use a sequence for Beast Mastery, feel free to check out my posts or those from other creators in this section of the forums for guidance.
As for Marksmanship, it is also receiving a damage increase. It is a bit surprising since Marksmanship is already performing quite well, but it might be tied to the adjustments made in 12.0.5.
Overall, Hunters are getting a nice little buff. Survival has not been touched this time around, so there you go.
Sorry, I did not realise it was a taboo subject, just thought a click was a click
Thanks for highlighting it though.
Okay, ladies and gentlebeans, I am going to have a little play around with some stuff on the Hunter today. I am going to see if I can reduce the overall block count in the sequence, because I think at the moment it is 12.
I am going to try and clean it up a bit and maybe make it more efficient. To be honest, what I am doing right now is adding more blocks with the same skill to compensate for the global cooldown effect. A lot of people noticed that when using a sequence, they would see that Black Arrow was not being fired off, for example. It wanted to be used, but because of other skills being used, the global cooldown effect is applied. For some reason, Black Arrow ends up in a spot where it should be fired, but it cannot be because the global cooldown is still active.
So I am going to have a play around and see what I can do. Hopefully, fingers crossed, I can either keep the same DPS we are getting but with fewer blocks, or, best case, get a small increase in overall damage.
I will experiment with it shortly. I am just finishing one of the zones on my Hunter, and then I will get to it. I will update everyone within the next few hours on how it is going.
See you all very soon.
which one ist the actuallly gse import? Thanks for your work =)
What do you mean wihch one is GSE Import? All 3 that are in the first thread are all different.
I’m going to be revisiting all 3 of those and I’ll get a Raid Single Target for Dark Ranger as well.
I’m just doing like 1 or 2 more quests in this zone, so all the ! marks disappear, then I will spend a few hours playing around with the sequences. So just keep your eye peeled for a notification that a 1.2 version of the sequences have appeared.
That is only if there was a massive change in the outcome of course ![]()
All right, so after about an hour or so of testing sequences on the dummies, this is where things currently stand. The version 1.1 sequence is pretty much the best you are going to get from my setups at the moment.
I tried two different iterations of version 1.2. The goal was to reduce the number of blocks in the sequence and see if that would help. Unfortunately, it did the exact opposite. Certain skills were not firing at all. I waited five minutes for Black Arrow to go off, and it never did, even though it was in the sequence. The global cooldown was interfering too much, so that idea was scrapped.
Then I tried the other end of the spectrum. I added more blocks and more repetitions of key skills, such as three entries of Bestial Wrath, three entries of Black Arrow, and so on. The idea was that more repetitions would increase the chance of abilities firing during global cooldown gaps. The results were hit or miss.
Sometimes Bestial Wrath triggered correctly, sometimes it did not. And the most surprising part was Wailing Arrow. As you know, once Bestial Wrath is used, it should flow straight into Wailing Arrow if you are playing Dark Ranger. But around 60 to 70 percent of the time, it never fired. It would just sit there glowing and ready, but the sequence ignored it. It makes no sense, because it uses the same spell ID connection and should behave exactly the same way as Bestial Wrath when it is in the macro.
Damage numbers wise, when I check RaidBots using the five boss, five minute setup with no food buffs or raid buffs, my character sims at around 207,000 DPS. When I use my version 1.1 Dark Ranger sequence, I average around 160,000 DPS, which works out to about 77 percent of sim. That is not great. I would prefer to get it to at least 80 percent, but right now it is sitting at 77 percent.
So for the time being, I am keeping the block size exactly as it is in version 1.1. I may tweak it by adding one or two blocks depending on the rotation and which skills seem to benefit from extra duplication. At the moment, I am happy with the way Bestial Wrath and Wailing Arrow fire together. They trigger consistently within their proper windows. Black Arrow is also working correctly.
The one thing I still need to figure out is how to get Wild Thrash to be used more frequently after Bestial Wrath activates, because that is when it hits the hardest. Wild Thrash has about an eight second cooldown, so if it gets used right before Bestial Wrath, you just have to hope you notice it and press it again during the 15 seconds that Bestial Wrath is active.
I will keep tweaking and testing, but for now, I do not feel the need to upload a new Beast Mastery sequence. If I can get the performance to push above 80 percent of sim, then I will absolutely upload an updated version.
For everyone using the current sequences on the website, you should be doing perfectly fine. I am using them myself. I have already cleared all the heroic raid bosses (in pugs), and I am running +12 keys without issues. It is in a solid place. Of course, more damage is always welcome, but that is going to come down to how well the sequence lines up skills during the global cooldown.
And we will be getting that flat 4 percent damage increase in a few days, so that will help as well.
Until then, have a great day. Keep checking in here, keep posting your feedback about how the Dark Ranger and Pack Leader sequences are working for you. Bye bye for now.
i modified the blocks myself before this using big cds manual and and other spells, and not making it not spam cobra shot very much. i do suggest using kill command manual only when the proc pops for maximizing your Kill command damage. i ve been on top so far yet my iLVL is 250 in pvp gear.
I always recommend that if people use the sequence and see something they want to adjust, they should absolutely feel free to customize it. Whether that means adding or removing blocks or changing modifiers, it is always helpful to tailor things to the way you like to play. That is why I say to change the modifiers to suit your style.
I personally like to keep Mend Pet and Intimidate in the sequence because I want to be able to use the stun when I need it, and I prefer to heal my pet manually rather than relying on an automatic Mend Pet. I have even seen Mend Pet placed in the main rotation, which feels unusual to me since it triggers the global cooldown. This means you end up taking that short global cooldown every time it fires, which I do not enjoy. That is just my personal preference, though.
As time goes on, I imagine things will continue to evolve, hopefully for the better. I am glad you are using the sequence, have made adjustments to fit your own playstyle, and are enjoying it.
SEQUENCE UPDATE
All right, everyone, I just wanted to post a quick update to the thread. First of all, I hope you are all doing well and having a fantastic weekend.
I made a few small adjustments to both the Mythic Plus and Raid specs. I removed the Pack Leader AoE build from the thread because, to be honest, I was not using it, and it seemed like many others were not using it either. I am trying to keep things clean and avoid unnecessary clutter. There is no real need to maintain multiple versions. If you want a Pack Leader AoE option, you can simply take the Pack Leader single target setup listed here, create a block using Wild Thrash, and select the talents that enable Wild Thrash. That is all you need, and it keeps the thread from becoming overly crowded.
There will be one additional build added, which is the PvP Arena and Rated Battleground build. This is based on the Pack Leader single target raid build but uses talents that are better suited for PvP. The rotation remains the same, but as you know, PvP is far more reaction based, so abilities like traps, Concussive Shot, and Binding Shot play a larger role. The screenshot and talent link will be included, and as mentioned, you can use the Pack Leader sequence for this setup.
That brings us to version 1.2. It is not a huge overhaul, but I have repeated certain skills within the sequence where I noticed that doing so allowed them to fire more consistently when they might have been missed due to the global cooldown. For me, this resulted in a small damage increase, so feel free to try it out. If you enjoy it, great. If you run into any issues, please let me know.
Otherwise, have a fantastic day and enjoy the rest of your week.
when i use gse and look at my logs it shows that i am not doing alot of barb shots and more kill command plz help
兽王的表现起事不错!

稍微需要注意的是需要手动“鞭笞”起手!
This is all down to the GCD rng so to speak. I’ve not noticed any issues with the barb shots and they fire off correctly. Kill Command will always go off because it’s on a short cooldown and because there are 2 charges.
But I will have another look and see if there is any real difference if I add another block of Barb shot to the sequence ![]()
Also can you confirm if you were using the Pack Leader or Dark Ranger?
Good morning, afternoon, and evening to everyone. I wanted to share something I noticed today regarding Beast Mastery Hunters and the recent changes. With the recent four percent increase, it seems like the tuning may not have received much detailed attention.
Normally, when I run an AA Mythic Plus key, I do not pay too much attention during the initial large pull before the first boss. In most runs, I sit somewhere around 300,000 to 500,000 damage per second during that pull, mostly because I am not focusing heavily. Today I approached it the same way. I went in, set up my pets, used my Puzzle Box, racial ability, combat potion, and so on, without thinking much about it.
When I checked the meters, I saw that I was doing well over 1 million damage per second. That result makes me think Hunters may receive a nerf in the next balance patch. For reference, I am using a sequence, not manual inputs. I imagine that players who manually play Beast Mastery Hunter might also be able to reach those numbers, and if they can, that is great. Still, seeing numbers that high made me believe a tuning adjustment might be on the way.
Just sharing the observation in case others have seen something similar.
with bm being at bootm in most things no where near meat or anything like dev dh i doubt they nerf us unless we start saying in top 2 of meta
I see what you mean about the Devourer Demon Hunter. I’ve seen the data and watched the videos, but I don’t pay much attention to most of that information because it never takes everything into consideration. It is always more of a broad, general number. The video I watched said something like the worst Devourer Demon Hunter performs as well as the best Beast Master Hunter, but it is all subjective. You can be in one encounter and outperform a Devourer, and they can be in another encounter and do better than you. It goes both ways.
That aside, I prefer to play something I enjoy. I do not want to play the meta because I find that very boring. You can play something that is meta and still be bored out of your mind. I tried the Devourer Demon Hunter and I was incredibly bored. People who enjoy that rotation are on another level. It really feels like next level sociopathic behaviour. But that is their choice.
As for nerfs and buffs, it is Blizzard. They often do things that make players question their decisions. The moment they think Beast Masters are doing more damage than they want, we will get nerfed. That is why I was so surprised with that first pull hitting over one million. I have never seen that from myself in all the runs I have done.
Anyway, I am going to get back to having some fun on my Protection Paladin.
Didnt play for a while so i am still at 275 ilvl, after testing the newest version i can tell that its a improvement for sure.
3 min target dummies without any buffs or potions i do a round 200k dps (aoe, 5 dummies).
besides all, thank you very much mr. pickle! i appreciate your effort and dedication ![]()
Can u please check on that? I can’t import and also can’t reimport with GSE builder
