I excited for new patch. Im not an old player and im thinking assistant will be good for new players, but i like gse also, so assisant can be good than gse with 0,2s cooldown ? What do you guys think
would have to test it before saying anything albout it, but indeed it is a finally ingame feature that’ll move wow to the next level, inclusion of those who can’t really play all the game itself because of limitations, it’ll now be more fun to login and try new possible content.

I just started testing on the 11.1.7 PTR. Cliffs: It’s damn good!
More info: So, I tested so far on BM Hunter. It DOES NOT cast Blood Fury or Hunter’ s Mark.
AOE dps was amazing, probably 95+% of the Kephas’ macro. The Single target was slightly worse, about 85% of macros. I will continue to test.
I’m very interested to see how a Feral Druid plays out, since it’s very difficult to macro them.
Edit: It also DOES NOT use trinkets.
kinda fair for the automation level their are planning, if we base on the CD management, these first tests are already showing a very nice result
I have tried it on pally. It wasn’t BAD, but I think I will stick with GSE until they make it against TOS if ever. (god I hope they dont)
Find it pretty cool that they are doing this, will be interesting to see how it plays out.
It’s currently messed up with any channeled spells. You have to stop spamming the button during the channel or it will get clipped. maybe that’s working as intended, dunno. Also, it’s a 0.3 second add to the global cooldown, not 0.2. They must’ve raised it slightly.
fantastic gse integration in game made by blizzard show as well
will be a wowlazy marco killer . Im ok with that as it will help players not get banned for using said add on . and alot less add ons and less upkeep / work to play the game and what blizz is doing is helping those with a disability . like me im missing 3 fingers from one hand maken the wow lazy marco add on a needed thing to play the game but with …i hope its good and hope it works out …
I think it will be good for some specs, like warrior. Warrior have 14 active skill that should see on screen, but they are not trying to decrease rotation and added single-button. Yes single button can solve problem for rotation but it will be less dps because of cooldown.
So in my opinion, for some specs like warrior or pally GSE is best. But a casting spec like mage or druid, i dont know assistant good. GSE is still best even casting no need stop macro, i can just stand and keep macro.
plus, cooldown will be more pain for casting specs. They already have time for casting.
No longer 0.2 seconds. and 0.3 on PTR. Added 0.1 sec.

What would he really neat is if gse could have a way to piggy back off the assistant. Like it would look at what spell the assistant suggests then gse would perform the cast. Would be a cool way to get a near perfect rotation without the penalty.
It won’t kill GSE. It does not use defensives, trinkets or cooldowns. Most macros are more efficient overall.

There are so many “bad” players out there… doing like 1/4th of the damage that they should be doing, this will help them a lot

it does what gse should do but perfectly because it does perfect singol and aoe rotation and casts the precise spells it should use. gse unfortunately doesn’t do this and often skips spells by pulling them at random just make a separate cd macro (trinket+racial+eventual buf) to use and you’re done, tested in ptr and really perfect

yes, plus this is old game and need new players. some rotations and dps very complicated. I support one button. I dont think old players or high content dps players will use that, they are already playing own game. It will help new players exactly.

Ptr BM noCD build, single target dummy, 3 min test, without cd´s trinkets racials
retail BM noCD build same as above with my favor GSE rotation

With a +0.3 gcd sec it will never replace a well made gse sequence, its good for low level content but for really high end content like Mythic raid/16+ or pvp there no world where people will accept you with such nerf
I wonder if you can add the “Blizzard Combat Assist” as a spell INSIDE of GSE?
Such that you can use GSE macro to cast trinkets, defensives, cool-downs (with/without mod keys) and the Combat Assist for the rest of your rotation?
