Shift button not working on macros

Hey all I have been having an issue with shift button not working on my macros all of a sudden.
I am using elvui and someone once mentioned there was an interface issue or something that causes issues with shift button macros. Does anyone know how I can make holding the shift button while doing the macro work again?

Are you using Elvui? if so. i suggest getting a new Ui. if not, then next i suggest checking other addons to see if one of them is using the shift key for something. also check your default keybinds.

Shift modifier broken - SOLUTION

Hi all, At some point today I went and updated Elvui and whatever else was in the queue on CurseForge (sorry, I didn’t pay attention which ones), but after that my shift modifier stopped working. The only way I can get it to work now is Esc ==> Options ==> Action Bars then set the “Lock Action Bars” button to “None” The default is Shift. Surprise, surprise - if I change it to Alt for example, then my Alt-modifiers do not work. Hope this helps someone.

Thanks I will try using this to fix it when I get on again next. I knew it was something stupid like that. I had heard other players had the same issue.
