Ended up adding a mind flay at the end of the macro because at some points it stood without casting from 5 to 7 seconds, that solved it.
I’ve added it myself and am messing around with testing, currently having it cast once per fight using a dead end castsequence.
/castsequence [nochanneling] Mind Flay, null
Otherwise you can end up in a mindflay loop.
Main post updated, talent and sequence changes.
Gonna give this update a try in LFR
Well, this macro seems broken… character is just standing there doing nothing in this update
Remove /use 13 and /use 13 from everyblock, that fixed it for me, as they’re higher in the sequence they take priority over spells, which forces this behaviour unfortunately
I’ll take a look when I get on later. It’s not trinkets though, they’re not on gcd.
Removed the trinkets from all the blocks, it now casts some spells… but majority of the time is spent just standing there without anything happening
I’ve just run two dungeons, no issues at all. Maybe worth reimporting and make sure you change your talents to the ones in the main post.
Love your work and very appreciative of the ongoing work you put in.
However, i preferred V2 of the macro.
Today i cleaned house on my interface folder and lost all my previous macros, any chance Op or anyone else would be able to post V2 here please?
Kindest regards.
edit: things i enjoy about the macro, (to other creators)
Having shadowcrash on manual cast, ive used other macros and there’s nothing worse than having shadowcrash go off as the current pull is going down and having to wait till middle of the next pull for crash to be available again.
Also same for Power Infusion, i use a Weak Aura that shows when my PI target is using an ability that’s worth enhancing with PI and having it ready and waititng for them is really nice.
I believe this is an intact copy of V2.

Question from a novice priest. Should I tab through the targets in aoe battles?
PS:
Your macros are the best. You obviously have a very good knack for them. I always check every class to see if there is a Shirk macro before I look at other macros.
Thank you. There’s only 3 haha, I make for classes I play personally.
You shouldn’t need to tab, Shadow Crash the one in the middle and blast away.
Had to go back to V2 because V3 will sometimes just have pauses where nothing will be cast unless I restart the sequence.
Do you remember if V2 used the same talent points as V3?
Amazing work as always, Shirk.
Quite a few people saying this now, perhaps I need to go back and look at this again.
My priest is dusty however, later in the week when I get a free evening I’ll work on it.
These are the talents I’m currently using, I do suggest people experiment though, as I’ve said before, I make these things the way I’d use them and unashamedly haha. I’m just a person with opinions, if I was you I’d do my own talent homework until you’re happy.

In all my classes, I omit any talents that make the sequence too complicated. Movement spells, ground target spells, I try to ditch them and it might cost a bit of damage on paper but in practice I personally find that I get more out of the sequence using a non cookie cutter build.
Understandably so. I am not complaining by any means (too afraid to make edits or adjustments for fear of breaking it / hold the belief that “The OP probably knows what they’re doing better than I do so don’t mess with it” ) Maybe I should mess with my ms. I believe I have it at default.
For some reason when I hold shift or if shift is used as a modifier it “pauses” the sequence. When I’m in settings left - shift is not indicating its a “reset sequence” or a stop sequence. Do you know anything about that?
You will forever be my favorite GSE sequencer simply for making the quickest reply I’ve ever gotten on these forums.
Do you mean in this settings window?
If so, I think default is nothing selected. I’ve not messed with a single setting on GSE, so default should look like this as far as I know.
I use shift for loads of things in game, pulling my mount out, defensives and all sorts of things. I’ve not had an issue with it pausing any macros.
I am a fool. There is no shift modifier in V2 or V3 so by holding shift the sequence is looking for a cast using a modifier that doesn’t exist so it halts the sequence entirely.
When you say you’ve never touched the GSE settings does that include the click rate? I do fear my 200ms default might be wrong.
Mine is on the default 250ms
Main post updated, V4 is basically just a roll back to V2 with some minor tweaks. I’m getting about 90% AOE and 86% ST. Hard to raise ST any more but I won’t just give up.
I’ll play this dusty priest for a few days and see what I can squeeze out.
Hey Shirk, I made this account just so I can thank you personally. Been using your SP macro now for around 2 weeks and I love it.
Keep doing what you do! You’re doing great so far!
