I have been messing around with gear and stats etc and with both builds MOH and SP.
The output from SP at current gear levels defo feels more consistant and higher (Im ilvl 245 btw) than MOH.
I have been running sims across loads of different gear types and ilvl ranges and I think for mythic raid Prog and higher keys +15> this is when your gonna see MOH really come out of its shell and be very very strong.
Just remember when we test these currently all of our stats are all over the place (Low lvls of crit, vers and mastry). I am in the EU and my guild are going in to Normal and HC tomorrow night so il be testing SP out in the raid and maybe MOH for some of the later bosses in HC when under geared.
Il keep everyone updated as i go through the raids this week.
Such an amazing job with these set of macros tho these will get anyone through any type of content they want to do
Freshly went to dummy to try out the harmony I’ve been using so far.
got to 24 stacks with macro alone, using the chonk defensives (fortifying brew & Ultradon Cuirass)
Solid enough considering I reached 27 while on warmode and spamming fortifying any chance I got. Will test it out in actual content but I don’t think there will be any struggles.
The MoH one uses Chi Burst compared to the ShadoPan version. The main rotation for MoH is Keg / Breath / BoK / TP and it strictly follows that order, because Tiger Palm has the same value as Keg when playing MoH. With ShadoPan, the rotation prioritizes the Keg / Breath combo over the rest. I think those are the only two differences between the two.
Ok so I did some of the raid today. Went in as shadowpan (Mainly cause i dont feel i have enough crit for MOH yet) and i use the Shadowpan Def macro, safe to say it did good
100 parse, awesome! When you say it stalled, was it due to a lack of energy?
Could you send me the log? I will take a look and see if anything isn’t working as intended.
Ofc I will DM you, im not too worried tho cause once i get T set it all changes so until then i wouldnt change much actually. if i get some boots tonight then i should have the crit i want for MOH which will be my high key and mythic raid build
Sometimes when i use the macro it gets stuck - particularly when moving from 1 pack to another. i pull them with keg smash for example. it then seems to sometimes brick the macro where it doesnt want to perform anything anymore and will remain stuck on the first icon. i have to go out of combat to fix it and be able to use the macro again. im assuming im doing something wrong, do you know what by any chance?
EDIT: Also when enabling Sequence Reset on any key - it doesnt reset when its bricked.
EDIT #2: issue seems fixed when not binding it to the action bar number but to “[“ instead
So if I would like to have 1 gearset for WW and for Brewmaster, I guess I should be playing shadowpan due to having crit and haste at high amounts? I think wowhead says haste is undesireable for MoH
Haste is bad for brew, you basicially want 0 and as much Crit/vers for Survivabilty and/or Crit/mastery>Vers for Damage, but with our T set 3 out of the 4 slots have haste on them. As Brew you want to aim for Head, Gloves, Shoulders and chest for the 4 Set there is some really good Vers/mastry legs. On the flip side there is also a really good vers/crit chest item with leech proc. but if you really lucky to get this when your items are Mythic ilvl it might would out better.
I would advise to alway sim different gear sets etc.
