Hello everyone!

Being a main Monk since Mists of Pandaria, raiding on Mythic difficulty each expansion and achieving multiple Cutting Edge titles, I decided to create a macro to help disabled players, newcomers to the class, or any Monk who wants to improve their performance in general with a build that delivers competitive results for high-end content

The Shado-Pan and Harmony Hero Talents are fairly equivalent overall. Shado-Pan is currently stronger in AoE damage, while Harmony performs better in single-target.

I) PURE DPS SHADO-PAN (This sequence only manage the dps part)
First sequence puts your entire Brewmaster damage rotation on a single button, allowing you to focus only on core tank responsibilities such as interrupts, AoE crowd control, taunts, and defensive cooldowns.

The idea behind the build is to optimize your Energy spender rotation to maximize Flurry Strikes proc rate, resulting in extremely high damage output for a tank.

The sequence uses the following priority: Keg Smash, Breath of Fire on cooldown, Blackout Kick to activate the Blackout Combo buff on Tiger Palm (+100% damage), Invoke Niuzao, and Exploding Keg for optimal damage.

II)SHADO-PAN DEFENSIVE VARIANT (This one is fully automated )

The second sequence automatically uses your Purifying Brew, and Celestial Infusion letting you not worry about managing your brew usage its also used on cooldown to trigger the damage from the Special Delivery passive,

Also your best stats for using this build gonna be Crit/Versatility/Mastery in this order, we dont want Haste at all. Try to reach around 25% Crit , 20% Vers for and around 15% Mastery.

II)HARMONY DEFENSIVE VARIANT (This one is fully automated )
(Personnal favorite, Our tankiest build right now)

For people who played my Rain Barrel fun build in the past, I’ve made a Midnight version that brings the idea back. The damage is pretty high and the survivability is insane, your purifying brew have in average 3second cooldown and celestial infusion 8~10 sec and the sequence will spam them to give you an insane tankyness and aoe damage from the talent special delivery . I managed to get the Raider tanking dummy boss up to 126 stacks with it. Here the video :slight_smile:

Hello. I love your work and dedication to Mistweaver and now with Brewmaster.
I have a question, What do you think about Brewmaster talent “Empty the Cellar“? It throws 5 barrels at nearby targets, and thats annoying in a Mythic plus dungeon, It pulls undesireable pack of mobs all the time. Do you consider to change this talent for another? Or What is the best strategy to play brewmaster with this talent on?

Thank you for the macro! I like to test the macros out on the Dungeoneer tanking dummy. I tried 3 macros, yours , other creators and one I made. I test them out only using the macro and no other other spells whatsoever. my macro I made it to 11 stacks before death, other creator I made it to 17 stacks before death and yours made it to 29 stacks..I will be using your macro…thanks again!!! Oh my ilvl atm during testing is 132.

Thanks for your message all ! For that problem, Blizzard is aware of the issue and is working on a fix. However, if it’s really bothering you, I’d recommend replacing it with Celestial Flames in the meantime, which will add a bit of extra DPS.

For a more defensive option, you can also take Vital Flame, which provides healing based on your fire damage.

TY for this been waiting and hoping for your Brewmaster build , so far its been the best one for me since you started to make one for us. Helps me/us so much :slight_smile:. Works like a charm like the other ox builds . so cant say more then Ty and Ty .)

Thanks for all your kind comments that’s honestly the best reward for me, I really appreciate it. I added a fun build at the end of the post, along with a video of me tanking the Raider tanking dummy boss up to 117 stacks. Funnily enough, during the fight a DH tried to taunt it and got instantly one-shot :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

With this new harmony macro.. same ilvl of 132 I made it to 58 stacks on dummy before death!!

This works like a charm, except when i log out and back in, the macro does not fire again, at all. It starts firing again when i go into it and configure it, then it goes back to normal

Looks like it was linked to the French version. Delete it and copy-paste the sequence again it should be fixed now.

This macro got me to 75 stacks before death at Ilvl 138!!! Good job. Im gonna mess with it and see if i can get it to cast vivify like every 8 secs since i see the free proc pop up alot.

Just wanted to say I’m really enjoying the new setup, not used to all the new sounds yet but that’s what new expansions are all about. Keep up the good work, your build from last season helped me totally tear up Lemix almost completely solo.

how do you get to 17? when i spam the button i just loose hp and die after 1 min :smiley:
