Hey Guys!

As this has always been a popular macro, I wanted to get a version update out for GSE3. I’ve done some testing and it seems to be performing well on target dummies. I would as always appreciate any further feedback and suggestions.

This is always a work in progress, so please keep the suggestions and ideas coming!

-== Changes for Shadowlands ==-

Kill Shot - Fires when your target falls below 20% HP, it will skip this until that point).

On Key Release this macro will now cast Bite, Claw or Smack depending on which pet you have active, I have added this because the auto-cast of your pet is very slow.

-== About the Macro ==-

The macro should help you keep Barbed Shot up to get the most use from Thrill of the Hunt talent. Another staple of my rotation is to cast Kill Command pretty much on cooldown - I have spent hours running various tests, and this macro will cast Kill Command and Barbed Shot pretty much on cooldown. Cobra Shot aims to fire no more than twice between barbed shots, Kill Shot will fire when your target falls below 20% HP. Until then the sequence will just skip this.

This macro does not include Arcane Shot, due to the cost. This macro does now include Bestial Wrath and Aspect of the Wild as part of the main macro. I have also included the Heart Essense function at the moment. This will be updated when shadowlands drops and we are no longer using it.

I am making use of AHK, running at 100ms for this macro.

Hey mate, no… the only addition to the AoE rotation is Multi-Shot (Which causes pets to cleave). I just spam multi-shot when I need to - So I’ve left it out, and I use Wild Spirits and Soulforge Embers as described above with seperate one line macro’s using WoW UI macro tools.

Hey @tradekeeper thanks for posting!

There were a few issues with this macro which my wife picked me up on last night. I have made a few changes and updated it, try importing it again from here and let me know how you get on with it. It seemed to be working ok for the wife last night.

The priority should always be KC and BS over CS. Are you running this with AHK if so, what speed were you running at? I’d recomend 100ms, its what I was testing it at last night, and thats the speed my wife was using it at. The updated version appeared to be working well on target dummies after the edit.

Hey mate, add another block in the loop. I wouln’t recomend it though personally as it will cost more, and you want to prioritise barbed shot and kill command.

Yes you can, just add a block with

/cast [nochanneling] Spirit Mend

Tip: for the safety of your WoW account, prefer using a Hold Down script with strict minimum 250 ms (you might even get better DPS with 320, 360, 400 ms…).

Also, I noticed your macro at 250 seems to ‘miss’ globals aka it sits there doing ‘nothing’

Any possible fixes?
