Not 100% true. I raided most of Legion with a single button macro with a few self adjustments throughout the way. It’s all about what the macro can do with the talents.
I hope it is ok, but I modified this macro. My item level is 197, my talents are 1211213. I managed to get about 4-8k on a dummy. I keep berserk and regrowth as a separate button.
Umm…ilvl 197 and 4-8k? That is either the tippy top burst that you can do once you hit all cooldowns or you aren’t hitting a raid level dummy. I’m ilvl 209 and only hitting 2k.
Edit: Please only post numbers from a 5 minute fight.
Not a problem yo. It’s just that someone might skim through these posts and just focus in on your numbers and have a false expectation.
Most people hit the raid dummy and not the pvp or regular dummy to see their true dummy numbers (to post those numbers here). The numbers will be typically better in a raid since there will be buffs, bloodlust, food, pots etc.
And please contribute more! We need more voices heard here.
I don’t think it is appropriate for you to copy the original macro, modify it and repost it in the same thread. You hijacked my thread in doing so. You should make your own thread so that when you’re macro has issues, those posts, regarding those issues, will be relevant to the thread you started and those issues will be centerlized to that macro.
My macro doesn’t need to be modified in the way you explained.
Anyone having the problem with the constant “You are Shapeshift Form” messages, it’s probably because you’re using something like a G13 or Nostromo to do the keypress. The macro has a “on key release” for regrowth. Remove that and it will stop.
