I’ve been lurking and trying the Macro here and there with some limited success (because of how I run my talents. VERY close to what you choose. Anyways, I just tweaked your work a little to work best with my talents and I have to tell you, this thing is spot on powerful. It works almost too well :slight_smile:

Here are the only changes I made. Basically, added another swipe near the start. Added Pulverize and Natures Vigil. Changed the Keypress area a bit.

Your work and knowledge of what needs to be ticking with a Guardian is right on the money. Big thumbs up!

seems like mage tower talents don’t work. i mean they work but more than half the talents missing and are usable to put anywhere u want

Yes, that is intentional. If you read the main post, you will learn that those are optional abilities you can enable to have automated by the macro, disabled by default. All of those have been requested by users but disabled by default so people don’t have extra stuff automated but have the option to turn that on.

Thank you. I was hoping when I first posted my macro that people would suggest improvements. I thought more people would contribute like this and help me make the macro better, have ideas that I haven’t thought off. While suggestions and feedback is great, I was really looking for contributions like this.

I will check it today, test it, and if it’s good I will incorporate it into my macro.

We lost a huge base of players to Diablo, but it’s not really an excuse for people not giving USEFUL feedback to your work. Offering different points of view based on different talents.

I did remove wild charge, as I like to control when I use that. You will see I removed all of the mod/nomod. I just moved the MOD for alt shift and ctrl to the keypress. They tick off as expected. I ran some 15’s and your base macro with the changes to match my talents and gameplay performed much better than the other I was using. FYI, on the tanking raid test dummy, I was at 40 stacks (400%) damage and still kept going. I’ve never been able to get that high before running out of cooldowns to keep health up.

I’ve found it is far better to keep both heals from moonfire and from the left side of talents and offer a healer a HUGE break from worrying about the tank. I basically overheal myself and never need a healer, except for those magic damage spikes we get as druids. But even those I could handle, but the healers worry when they see my health go down, when it rarely even budges :slight_smile:

Your placement of our defensives is spot on, brother. They keep the stacks going.

  • I have the Raid Beacon trinket and Weapon, so my dps stays healthy enough. Also, adding the extra swipe near the top really helps to get group agro. I mean A LOT. I use to always have to chase after a NPC or 2 after a pull.

I totally agree about the extra swipe. I have went and completely redone my macro because of that, but i went a completely different route than you. Still thanks for the inspiration! Just a few notes and tips for you while I am checking your macro:


this is caused by a Repeat Block with Interval 1
it could have been caused by export/import, I encountered that problem myself here few times!

There is a reason I don’t have hard auto target in my macro, it already soft targets and I want hard target (like a click or tab) to be manual and to stick. I have plans to add battle res in the future which would res a friendly just by targeting it, still building rage and attacking.

But I understand why you would have it there.

The important parts now, your extra Swipe, you have to think about how the macro chains. You have it like this, with fixed repeat:

My NEW macro is totally different, even smarter! It now has two blocks that try to use Mangle and Thrash, stay the same if they fail or change to the other if they succeed, since it’s extremely more likely you will have Thrash ready earlier than Mangle when you have just used Mangle, and guaranteed you will have Mangle ready earlier than another Thrash when you just used Thrash. But the sequences also reset to account for Mangle procs, being out of melee range but in Thrash range, and similar. This is the fucking smartest macro I have ever made, and because it needed more Swipes I have shortened the whole macro instead of putting more swipes in. The execution of Thrashes and Mangles is even better than in previous versions thanks to smart sequence blocks, but there is more Swipes so no missing GCDs anymore.

Which turns out to be super smooth distribution of all abilities in the rotation with Ironfurs and Mauls in between with regular Swipes and smart Mangle/Thrash blocks like this:

I am not saying your macro is wrong or bad, in fact it is great! It lead to me searching for new and better ways to optimize my own macro, especially seeing the need for more Swipes. It’s just that I found a way to increase the number of Swipes without sacrificing Thrashes or Mangles including procs.

I will go play ball with my dog now, after I am back I will try to edit the main post and share the new version of the macro, v5. But no promises, I have friends coming over for Pathfinder today!

I am in the middle of a rigorous testing, trying other approaches, my current problem is the macro can’t spam swipe + thrash out of combat, only spams swipe. While it works perfectly fine when you have a target and can rotate mangle and thrash, my old macro spammed swipe and thrash which was nice for tagging mobs, revealing stealthed enemies etc.

Hello, good morning. I have a problem running the macro. When I import it and try to use it, I drag the icon to the bar, when I press the macro it does not execute any skill. It is very rare, it happens to me with all my macros that I export from Lazy Macros …

That sounds like the in game macros that GSE has to create are either not working or wrong or not there at all. Check the troubleshooting section. Maybe your macros are full?

You gave me something to think about on how the macro chains. I didn’t think about that aspect. I’m more of an Excel guru than a macro guru, so without people like yourself, I would be alone in the dark.

I look VERY forward to seeing how you handle the new plan! Now I’m going to look at how to structure what I’ve done so I lose the extra swipe. I’m not quite sure how to do the whole thing, but I will figure it out :slight_smile:

I’m trying to get a grasp on the ā€œINTERVALā€ and it’s meaning. I know what a block and block type does, but the interval is causing me interval headaches.

Interval means how many blocks it needs to appear again for a repeat block.
