how fast should i click my button for the best performance?
i just tried first 2 bosses on normal voidspire on got a 62 and 69 logwise, currently im clicking my button 5 times a sec (200ms)
What I did was casting the dot and festering strike manually, then using the macro. Been getting excellent results this way, specially in single target.
However, and this is worth mentioning, UH DK is NOT a “every pull gives you good dps”, anything below 3 targets and without popping your main cooldowns will return you mediocre dps.
I made big updates to version 1 for both the AOE and ST sequences. I left version 2 alone as some people are having very good luck and incase this new version of version 1 doesn’t work as well for them I want them to be able to keep version 2.
I have defaulted both the AOE and ST to version 1 (new version).
The burst is very high on the new version and it still seems in some tests to outdo version 2 through 3minute and 5 minute parses.
If you could please run some tests I put the new GSE string and give me some feedback as the new version has worked well for me.
Modifiers havent changed.
tested it, worked good so far i guess i´m not sure if i have to cast outbreak the whole time until i run out of runes or just to keep up the stacks
single target you wont have to worry about it but you may depending on how long it takes to kill packs. I have it as a shift mod or you can put it on a button. i have it as a mouse button as well. It ruins the sequence by putting it in so it either needs to be a mod or applied manually
I’m doing some tests on training posts and I have the impression that I’m doing more damage with one button. It’s the first time I’ve used this kind of macro, maybe I’m doing something wrong?
if youre doing multitarget make sure outbreak is on. the sequence one put it on unless you hold SHIFT modifier or manually put it on. if outbreak is not on, you cant use epidemic/graveyard which is your highest damage ability. youll notice its not on if epidemic isnt casting and youre seeing a message saying you cant do that or there sno targets or something along the lines of this
yea the question is do i have to spam it if its up with shift or just sometimes for keeping the stacks up?
and i don´t know which version to use, i´ve used version 2 aoe and ST for some low keys on alt but it did quite well
its the same you dont want to spam outbreak. only use it if it falls off. dont spam outbreak its a loss of dps. you should only need to put it on once BUT if it falls off (something happens with spread, tank moves mobs and you cant spread. whatever the case is) just reapply it to one mobs and use it. This is no different than the other versions. version 2 you have to apply outbreak once as well. so just do it how you normally do it and then spam the sequence.
one thing im noticing right off the bat is that runes arent spending a lot to create runic power
I do sit at 8 runes quite regularly
I can mess with festering strike/scythe and scourge a little more. When I looked at the numbers it seemed to cast a decent amount but I’m back and forth between testing so I’ll give it a look. Scourge strike has been the most annoying thing to program in with the build.
