Updated 3/26/2026
Updated Raid sequence. It wasn’t prioritizing Holy Wards and Holy Light was being used too often. Now working correctly and prioritizing Holy Wards.
Hey it’s Mob. Back with another one this time we have Holy Paladin Herald of the Sun covering both Mythic+ and Raid. This comes with three sequences total. Mythic+ healing sequence, a Raid healing sequence, and a DPS sequence all packaged together.
How the Healing Sequence Works
Mouseover takes priority - if you are hovering over a party frame when you press your key, that person gets healed instantly. This gives you full control when you need to spot heal a specific player.
Target’s target is the fallback - if you are not hovering over anyone, the sequence automatically heals whoever your current target is attacking. In practice this means if you are targeting the boss or any enemy, the sequence heals that enemy’s target which is almost always your tank or whoever is taking the most damage at that moment.
Mythic+ Healing Sequence
The M+ sequence is built around Eternal Flame as your primary Holy Power spender for strong single target spot healing on individual group members. Divine Toll and Holy Shock fire on cooldown to keep Holy Power flowing constantly. Light of Dawn catches AoE moments when the whole group is taking steady damage. Avenging Wrath fires automatically on cooldown. You can remove this if needed and want more control over it.
The sequence also includes Judgment and Shield of the Righteous at the bottom of the loop for Holy Power generation and damage contribution.
Raid Healing Sequence
The Raid sequence has two meaningful differences from the M+ version.
Light of Dawn moves up to become your primary Holy Power spender since in a raid environment it hits up to 5 players within 40 yards simultaneously making it far more efficient than single target Eternal Flame when the whole raid is taking damage.
Holy Light becomes a core rotation spell rather than just an emergency modifier. The entire raid mana economy revolves around casting as many Holy Lights as possible throughout the fight. Holy Light appears in the main loop now, but you can always use this if you set the shift modifier. Eternal Flame stays in the loop for tank spot healing when someone needs focused single target healing.
Everything else - Divine Toll, Holy Shock, Avenging Wrath, Flash of Light stays identical between both sequences.
Shift, Alt and Ctrl Modifiers
Both healing sequences have three built in modifier keys that work on every single block so they fire immediately no matter where the sequence currently is.
- Hold Shift + press your key - fires Holy Light instantly on your mouseover target. Use it when someone is critically low and your normal rotation isn’t enough. Also use it the moment you see an Infusion of Light proc from a Holy Shock crit that makes your next Holy Light instant and significantly stronger.
- Hold Ctrl + press your key - fires Flash of Light instantly on your mouseover target for quick spot heals between Holy Shock cooldowns.
- Hold ALT + press your key - fires intercession which is your battle rez. Make sure to hover over the dead target’s frame when you press ALT + your keybind.
Important: make sure Shift and Ctrl are not bound to other actions in your WoW keybinds. You will also need to add Shift+[your key] and Ctrl+[your key] as separate keybinds in GSE’s keybinding menu pointing to the same sequence so GSE knows to listen for those modifier combinations.
How the DPS Sequence Works
The DPS sequence is used for when your group is healthy and no healing is needed. It handles Shield of the Righteous, Divine Toll, Judgment, Holy Shock on enemies, and Consecration automatically.
What to Keep on Your Hotbar
These cooldowns are too timing sensitive or situational to automate — keep them on manual binds.
- Aura Mastery - use proactively right before big group or raid wide damage hits. If you have Ringing of the Heavens talented this also fires a free Divine Toll making it a powerful emergency healing cooldown.
- Lay on Hands - your absolute emergency full health reset on one target.
- Blessing of Sacrifice - 30% damage reduction on an ally.
- Blessing of Protection - physical immunity on an ally.
- Divine Shield - your personal immunity bubble. Can also be used aggressively as a healing cooldown.

Hope you enjoy! Please let me know what you think and any feedback is welcome. Holy Paladin went through a lot of design iterations to get this right so drop a comment if something feels off or if you find improvements. All three sequences are included in one export so you get everything in a single import.
